New HD2-like layout with 4 quicklinks in home,you can swipe the quicklinks left and right to scroll their page,or you can swipe up to open the full 12 quicklinks page.

In 1.4 version there also 4 new widgets that allow to enable and disable phone radio,bluetooth,wi-fi and the weather animation on hometab. Thanks very much to myslee_oVi,
Here you can see his thread about the widgets..still in progress. The "Phone" widget is not perfect yet,sometimes it displays "on" and sometimes displays
"off" but you can see the real status from the taskbar,so that's not a big deal. Btw it's a prerelease yet,i'm sure it will be fixed by oVi in the final version.

Facebook Tab was added in 1.2 version,thanks to meltwater for developing it. Don't forget to install Microsoft Facebook on Internal Storage (Memorizzazione Interna
for italian rom users) or the "Facebook App" shortcut in Facebook Tab Menu won't work! FIM (Facebook Instant Messaging) can complete the suite,if you want.

Manila Locker is finally working without bugs and fully customizable,thanks to Co0kieMonster! Now you can choose 3 different unlock modes and many clocks for lockscreen.
The device wakes up with any key as the lockscreen is enabled by default. If you don't like it, just uninstall "any key wakeup" from the applications.

The quicklink icons are provided by Lechux,thanks very much to him too. If you want more of his beautiful icons, here is his development page.

The black slider and tab icons are taken from MykCer's Black Sense 2.5,i just added the Facebook Tab icons which were missing. Here is his thread,thank you!




Landscape mode is the biggest new of this awesome 2012 build of Sense 2.5,ported to VGA by amarullz. Auto-rotation of Manila UI is disabled by default,
you have to long press "Phone up" to manually rotate it. Retractable slider is enabled by default on Landscape. Red sundays and transparent background
on calendar are a little addon of neoceltic who helped me a lot during the entire development of the ROM,thank you my friend!
In 1.5 version the 3D landscape animation on music tab is enabled. Thanks to thekidz.rocks for VGA screen fix.



The Comm Manager has been updated from yozgatg's new R5.5 kitcher,plus slightly tweaked by me. Here is an example of the infinite combinations from new
Co0kie HomeTab 1.7.1. Analog clock,notifications,retractable slider in Portrait Mode. You can even move the elements up and down the screen. The last two
screenshots are from the Tachi Dialer,which was tweaked and compressed by BlackFriar. Thank you too! I made it black & grey to fit much more with the ROM.
In 1.3 SP1 there has been a nice update, kimi_sae_ireba released his awesome messaging mod which includes amarullz' mods plus many extras.. as speech bubbles!


IMPORTANT: BEFORE REPORTING THAT WEATHER DOESN'T WORK,PLEASE GO TO WEATHER TAB\MENU\ENABLE MY LOCATION AND TRY TO UPDATE TWICE,AT LEAST :)
IMPORTANT2: THIS ROM IS STABLE,PLEASE DON'T REPORT ABOUT HARD RESETS,ETC...IF YOU DID NOT FORMAT WITH MTTY BEFORE FLASHING IT.
IN ALTERNATIVE,PLEASE FLASH AN OFFICIAL ROM THEN HARD RESET THE DEVICE BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM. EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FINE THIS WAY.

Like the title says..finally here's the kitchen i've built to cook all of the roms above.

Now you can try to mess up by yourselves and try infinite combinations of packages.

Thanks to yozgatg for his Gen.Y kitchen,most of the little i've learnt is thanks to him.

The WM build is updated to the latest 6.1 existing build (21057) thanks to celoni for that.

HTC Sense 2.5.2019 is already included and up to date with all the latest updates/fixes.

Thanks to abrasive for the VGA port and thanks also to all the guys from the 2019 thread.

There's all the EXT packages i managed to extract (and often localize) from all the latest roms.

Sorry,only WWE (0409) and ITA (0410) are included, multi-language would've been too hard to do.

Precompiled 2.4 ROMs are already included,just choose "Load ROM" and you'll find both ITA/WWE!

A-versions are with enabled RSS Reader in home,B-versions aren't. Hope you enjoy it :)

la prossima versione probabilmente sarà su 2.5.2012 con supporto completo al landscape. lo sto già testando ma preferisco prima vedere prima come si comportano i cuochi più bravi come diamond lover,shark,etc.. c'è ancora un po' di roba da correggere prima di definirlo completo al 100% ;)

infatti ti avrei segnalato anche questo come small bug....
ce l'ho in prova da ieri sera e devo dire che non delude.

Ho modificato il pp a 16 MB e così si presenta molto reattiva, ma purtroppo non mi parte Opera. Forse dovrei formattare con MTTY e poi riflashare.

Inoltre in un caso il menù programmi in hometab è comparso vuoto ma dopo un soft reset si è risolto.

Proseguo con i test e ti inoltro una richiesta che ho già fatto qui nel forum ad altri cuochi italiano, cioè una rom Sense 2.1 o 2.5 basata su WM 6.5 com2 build 21xxx.cioè quella più simile all'ufficiale HTC.

Pensaci, magari non sono solo io a volerla.

Inoltre in un caso il menù programmi in hometab è comparso vuoto ma dopo un soft reset si è risolto.

Proseguo con i test e ti inoltro una richiesta che ho già fatto qui nel forum ad altri cuochi italiano, cioè una rom Sense 2.1 o 2.5 basata su WM 6.5 com2 build 21xxx.cioè quella più simile all'ufficiale HTC.

Pensaci, magari non sono solo io a volerla.

ottima recensione,ti ringrazio molto. quello della home tab in inglese era una "limitazione" della mod di co0kie,hanno aggiunto da poco la stringa per modificare il testo ed ho subito corretto :) con opera 9.7 non ho mai avuto problemi in nessuno dei flash che ho fatto per provare e riprovare la rom prima di upparla,anche senza mtty. spero sia un problema isolato e che non si ripeta a nessuno,in ogni caso grazie della segnalazione. per quanto riguarda il menu programmi,intendi i quicklinks della home tab o dal tasto "windows"? mi hai incuriosito col PP a 16mb,quasi quasi faccio una prova anch'io.

per la proposta su wm6.5..ci sto pensando seriamente. appena trovo un po' di tempo vorrei provarci il nuovo sense 2.5.2012 ed alcune altre cosette.

Ho scaricato due volte Eto.Y_1.0__Rhodium_Dialer.rar, ma al termine winrar segnala sempre un errore nel file (file corrotto)

Non ho riscontrato problemi con il download della versione con il Tachi.
Flashata e in test :)

Premesso che la rom precedente era proprio la Gen. Y D2X

Performance:

pro: nessun blocco o crash, molto stabile.
Ho installato tutti i miei soliti programmi senza problemi e funzionano come prima.

contro: non so se è una mia impressione, ma il Sense 2.5 sembra leggermente meno reattivo rispetto alla Gen Y....forse con una modifica al PP, come hanno suggerito, migliora.
Potrebbe anche essere una mia impressione :) , funziona comunque bene e in modo stabile.

Interfaccia:
pro: La home tab di Cookie è la migliore soluzione all'assenza della tab programmi di manila ...anzi è molto meglio!!

contro:
Lo slider nero con le icone grigie non è molto visibile e la navigazione risulta un pò "spenta" ..e dopo un pò stanca la vista.
L'ho disinstallato e riattivato quello originale (che comunque non mi fa impazzire).
Personalmente preferisco uno slider con il bordo, come quello trasparente, ma sono gusti e scelte personali.
Ti consiglio comunque di renderlo, in qualche modo, più visibile.

Strettamente personale:
- Aggiungerei una task bar più "grafica" come quelle di Laser Inc. (io ho messo la Mic Neo).
- un wallpaper , sempre nero, ma più visibile (con una sfumatura o le griglie nere o le texture tipo grafite), enfatizzerebbe tutta la grafica della rom.
Tutte le altre tue scelte le ritengo ottime ;)

software preinstallato:
Pro: C'è solo l'indispensabile. E quello che c'è funziona. Questa è una cosa che mi piace. ;)

contro: ...bah a me piace così :D, poi ci penso io ad installare le mie cose ;).
Forse, ripeto "forse", a molti potrebbe mancare la suite Office....

    metti anche una traduzione volante (va bene pure fatta con google), siamo in un forum internazionale e la gente si incazza facilmente.

    cmq per eliminare i collegamenti fai un tap sulle icone interessate,tieni premuto e poi trascinale via. purtroppo c'è qualche imperfezione nel menu ma questo metodo funziona perfettamente.

    hi there,

    i'm receiving many PMs asking how to proceed with the flash when the device gets stuck at splash screen (black background with TOUCH DIAMOND logo etc..).

    just read the info on FlashRUU utility,don't panic as everything's OK! it's all there

    restart the device in bootloader mode (soft reset red button + volume down) and proceed!

    hope that it's much more clear now..


    p.s. i'm glad to see that there's still someone using this rom! thanks guys ;)
