Its just a placebo effect .

This kernel.doesnt OC it will show 1.04 (or something like that) but it.will.be 832 mhz

i applied this to my SGY, Hyperion 8. I removed the hells kernel and then install this one. But it seems to much worsen the state of my phone. i can't feel the 1.2 ghz. it lags.

There is much talk about overclocking SGY. Some people say that s5360 can not be overclocked. They say that overclocking is fake on SGY. Personally I didn't noticed much different between 832Mhz and 1.248Ghz (on Merruk 2.5 #206) but AnTuTu gives me more points after overclock. Of cource AnTuTu is not accurate and doesn't tell about real performance. I have also tested bogoMIPS with overclocked kernel and bogoMIPS point raise up also.

However, if you are looking for better performance FEELING, I guess you should try memory tweaks (V6 SuperCharger, KickAssKernelizer (KAK) etc.). They give you "fast feeling". You can also upgrade your Hyperion 8 to 9. Personally I like Merruk 2.5 #206 kernel at 1.248Ghz but it drains some battery. If you want more battery you can use Savie #73 kernel with Merruk beta file (OVERCLOCK_SGY.zip). With Savie #73 and Merruk beta file you can overclock your SGY to 900Mhz. (check this thead, in the end there are links to Savie #73 and Merruk beta).
