Battery will only update if the battery mod has been applied to the the Rom you are installing

Otherwise you will only see the default google white battery icon.

INSTRUCTIONS
Just hit button again if it doesn't seem to work the first time (aroma is buggy)
Make sure options are checked before going to next screen.

Screen 1 : Welcome -- just info and version number, hit next to continue

Screen 2 : Choose the Theme that you would like to install:
Black, Jade, Purple, Red, Blue, Tangerine, TLime or TBlue
Stock (revert graphics to Stock VisX)
(you do not have to pick a theme if you are just wanting to install
some of the other options later)

After you pick a theme, header text color will change to the color
you chose.

Screen 3 : Choose the Theme options you would like to install:
All - ALL of the theme will be installed (no XML at this time)
Jump to screen 6
Choose - Customize installation, only choose what you want

Screen 4 : Pick Options for Theme Page 1 of 2
Clock, Multi-Window, Music, Camera Icon, Samsung Keyboard,
Calculator, Phone Dialer, Gallery Checkbox, Launcher

Screen 5 : Pick Options for Theme Page 2 of 2
Messaging, Settings, Battery, Signal, QuickPanel, Data
Browser, Framework

Screen 6 : XML Tweaks? (these change based on current availability)
NoXml----Do not install XML Tweaks
Sho1------OLD SHOstock 1.x XML Tweaks (NOT SHOstock-i)
MF*--------4.2 MF* XML SHOstock 2.x (NOT SHOstock-i)
MH*--------4.2 MH* & MI* XML VisionX, GoldenEye, SHOstock-i
MJ*---------4.3 MJ* XML Tweaks
MJ8--------4.3 MJ8 XML VisionX i9505 (not for ATT i337)
MK*--------4.3 MK8, MK9 & MKE (NOT for MK2) XML Tweaks
etc...etc....
What do I get with XML tweaks?
MMS Blue Time stamp and Word Select will be Grey instead of Blue (depends on installer, ice colors pink or blue)
Data Usage chart fill will be Grey instead of Blue
Change notification bar background (pull down) from blue to black


Screen 7 : Change Text Message Background?
The messaging background on Europe roms is Black with White Text
The messaging Background on ATT USA is White with Black Text
(this is not the bubbles, it is the message entry screen)
The default in the themes is Black, choose White if you need to
Black - keep default Black Text Msg Bkgrnd
White - Change to White Text Msg Bkgrnd (like SHOstock)

Screen 8 : The Wizard is ready to begin installation
Last chance to go back and change your mind,
otherwise hit Install

Screen 9 : Johns Themes Installation Beginning
what is being installed and progress will be displayed
this may take a little bit of time

Screen 10 : Thank You
Thanks for trying my themes out,
Reboot: keep checked to boot into your Rom
uncheck if you want to stay in Recovery
to install something else.

Can you give me more details...
Are you getting the Johns Themes Logo screen?
(if not, did you check the md5 to see if it downloaded correctly?)
If yes, when are you getting the error?
What Recovery are you using?

It sounds like the file isn't downloading properly
You can get the MD5 tool here:

I think when you click the link to download my file it has the md5 listed.
It is possible that the upload is bad.


Has anyone successfully downloaded and installed the Johns Select Themes?

I don't have access right now to try it. I will check it this afternoon.

Thanks Man, at least I know the post is uploaded well,
I know that downloads can be tricky from that site though.
I used to have things on my Dropbox, but they are sticklers for bandwidth usage.

Hi, I just tried the download and it is not the correct size. I am re-uploading it now. Maybe some of the servers had the correct size,
but I will update the link soon.

No, sorry, I don't do updates to the google apps, they do not compile properly with the tools that I have, and the second that google updates (which they do a lot) it needs to be redone.
