Just an FYI to all, I test for many great teams and devs here on XDA, I can tell everyone that everyone, everywhere is aware of the GmsCore/Google settings fiasco. It is everywhere on XDA and from what I can gather knowing that most devs I test for all work together and help each other out as much as possible. I know dj , dafoxs, Bboy, and the tbo team will be working on a fix and there is a good team of tbots all trying to figure this out. I am personally working with a touchwiz Dev to try and get a "fix" done as quickly as possible. It might be quick and easy, most likely not but no need to keep posting about the issues. It is being worked on and when a fix is done everyone can relax and enjoy the themed apps flawlessly once again.

Thebe@r'$ G@L@XY

And I was about to post about Gmail and chrome ****ting on me.

Thanks and take your time with fix

Just a little PSA for those who have reverted Google Play settings back to 4.23 to allow clear/black gmail, chrome, etc to work.. The new versions of Youtube and Wallet require you to upgrade Google Play Settings - which I am assuming will get you back to square 1 ie breaking gmail and chrome, etc again... DJ correct me if I'm wrong... I can't say for sure, b/c one I saw it request it I killed the app and re-flashed the previous versions...

If you go back to 4. 2.43 you can use it with the the apps. Link's on out Facebook page. This is just a temporary fix until there's a complete fix.

I do not understand why Google would push an update that would break their own app. You can't even install their official gmail app from the play store.

Yeah. It won't let me (edit: attempt to) install it if i don't. It just says open

Yeah that's not Google, that's us. Go to your main menu settings/apps/Gmail and select uninstall. Also some launchers let you uninstall the app dragging the icon to the trash but long hold it there until uninstall appears.

FYI. If using wallet and you get the update message, click update, takes you to the playstore, do not install it, just hit the back button on your phone and get out of the store

Well i can't get play services to update again now that i want it to but if you'll recall, Monday i believe, i mentioned i was gong to do a full wipe and update my ROM. I asked youif the app and web site were in sync. So after i set my phone back up i flashed my tbo and DarkHorse apps like i normally do and when i saw that my gmail kept crashing i knew I'd been smacked with the problem I'd been reading about in the thread. So when i couldn't find the play services that dafoxs posted i figured i would just install it straight from the past store and deal with stock until everything got sorted out. Anyways this is what i got...

Ok. It installed after i rebooted.

That was my next question...sweet.

We are working on this, I made a flashable zip so it would be easier to just uninstall the update and be done...Lol I'll upload them to the OP in a few. I'm working on the WhatsApp issues now.

Oh i know y'all are! I make it a point read every post in this thread as things can move pretty fast at times. Sometimes it gets confusing and i wonder, "when do these guys sleep?!".

I personally appreciate the he11 outta what y'all do. I hope y'all don't ever quit. In the meantime I'll either uninstall updates twice a day or deal with stock gmail. Can't stay on the cutting edge without a little blood, right?

I do have one question. I've detached play services from market with tibu. Do you think that will stop the updates?

Nope. The Google settings are now on FB. Stick with one rom and don't turn your phone off. That's the only time stuff updates for me

Team Black Out is a team of both veteran app "Inverters" and new-comers that want to learn. With over A lot of popular Blacked Out and Transparent Android apps in our list, we are sure to not only amaze you but to guarantee once you use our Themed Apps you'll Black Out for a while.. The Team isn't doing ROMS though. We are simply combining the great minds of some of the Best in the Business when it comes to making apps Blacked Out or Transparent. We have only a few team members now because some are planning on being lightly active, so if you're already into doing Blacked Out apps, hit us up if you wanna join. We don't want to train people from the ground up but you don't have to be the best either. We will are hosting guides on this site to help walk people through the process of Inverted Apps...

    T-BOTS.png

T-BOTs are the Team Black Out Testers. When we update an app or start a new one from scratch, we can put anywhere from 20 minutes to 10 hours into 1 app for all of you and then testing that app can take 10-60 minutes and we don't use every app we Black Out so we're bound to miss some hidden things. Well, this is where our Loyal T-BOTs come into play. Once we update an app they get busy looking for issues for us. This gives us more time to be able to update more apps, start new apps or just have some non-android fun. So make sure you thank the T-BOTs when you get blown away from how amazing these apps are!

Obviously this style is the most popular. We don't theme our apps with images but rather Invert the Colors so you'll have Dark backgrounds and Light texts. This is very popular and has become something that many avid Android users have come to thoroughly enjoy so we will do our best to give you more of what you love!

    Transparent.png

Transparent apps have become more popular the last year or so and some members of the Team have been offering them for a while now. Our transparent series of apps are called Clear Apps. Being able to see your wallpaper while you're using your favorite apps is just cool! We'll be offering our own wallpapers soon for you to use!

Ok kids... click on "Welcome to the Dark Side" at the top and it will take you to our official Team Black Out website! All downloads are hosted there only to keep track of everything. If you've used any of our apps in the past in your Aroma installers or in your ROM, you can still use them. Link back to our SITE wherever you post our content tho. Do not post something in a different forum using our work and then PM us to let us know and hope it's ok with us.... It isn't. Ask first and we'll work with you but ask for forgiveness and we have a problem.

    Thanks
