Funny hyperbole (I hope;)) I never understood the ultra-dull grey crude looking status bar either so I auto-hide it with Go Launcher under Preferences-Gesture Settings.

Frankly Android should offer translucence-opacity as well as auto-hide options for the status bar..

Those people who don't like don't have to use it.. I certainly want it asap.

I played with the Note2 in Best Buy today for ~ 2hrs & it is in a class of its own. Amazing device (though the stock settings & TW are far from realizing its potential).:cool:

Amen! I was happy with rooted stock on my Skyrocket for a while, but moved over to custom ICS ROMs a while back just because the status bar info wasnt gray (well, the clock was at first, but I digress).

I took this one from the gs3 version . I just flashed it and worked fine.

Holo laucher let's me hide that ugly status bar. Credit to bbb for the icons. And yes unfortunately my daughter is holding an iphail not mine for sure.

When you set your lock screen wallpaper is there anyway to use the whole image and not just whats in the little selection box

Do youknow what that icon in the status bar is that looks like an N... I can't figure out how to get rid of it
