You can't just install Currents from the Play Store. You have to use a file manager like root explorer to actually place the apk in the system/app folder. And then fix the permissions.

Status 7

Just a reminder if you get a Status 7 error installing, make sure your running the stock Kernel. I had forgot I installed Leankernel on mine and was getting the error. Flashed the stock back then the update ran fine.

Just flashed via TWRP (over nandroid restore of JOP40D)... no problems...

Most notable issue so far, is the BOOTLOADER has been upgraded from 4.13 to 4.18.
(...and it's wiped out my custom recovery... hopefully, I can fastboot flash that back...).

R: Nexus 7 4.2.2 JDQ39 update rolling out in USA?

Installed with TWRP and adb sideload. Everything was fine and I had to restore root supersu with voodoo ota rootkeeper.

It seems a little snappier so far

For all the ones getting error 7.
Make sure all the stock Google apps are not disabled. And all system files are as they were originally (if you have changed any stock app you would need the money change it back in order for the update to work).

I finally can pair it with the Asus Z68 onboard Bluetooth an hear/stream audio without interruptions.

Before the update I had chops and stutters even when the distance was only 30cm.

I've got the update yes on the regular WiFi N7. And yes its nicer, at least to my eye anyway.

Yes after updating from zip via CWM i got asked if it shall block android removing CWM and if it should re-enable root

worked perfectly

Just upgraded via CWM. Only difference I notice is that it definitely feels snappier.

No, fix permissions from within root explorer for that one apk. You can run fix permission from CWM if you really wanted to run it against your whole system I guess.
