Would this work with your slim gapps v10?

Don't know, just give it a shot. ;)

However, a few days ago, I made a new LS build for some purpose. If anyone is interested, I could share that one (LS v3.2 based on Android 4.4.4) with you..

P.S.: And please don't ask for Android 5.0, it's too early.

I am definitely interested. :)
Okay, then I will upload it soon (e.g. until tomorrow) -- I'm currently away from my computer.
Didn’t know you were working on it… ;) What’s your estimate there, weeks/months?
Sorry, I am so bad in giving estimates, I could be completely wrong. Ahh, btw, please always remember XDA rule #1: Don't ask for ETAs.

Hey, you practically made me do it… :p

My question was more along the lines of, Do you think 5.0 is going to be more work than 4.4? Why/why not? (See, it’s a technical question. ;>)

Ya, sure. I have guided you into that direction. :D

Technically spoken, it's a quite pile of work because 5.0 requires to switch from java 6 to 7. And that is causing build errors in many places.

Furthermore dalvik is no longer available, and we have to see how art is working out on our desire. Probably a few scripts need to evolve, like a2sd. But that's just one example.

hello,
I have tried many different ROMs on my Desire - not because I would not be satisfied, I just want to try new things :)... I installed this ROM on my wife's Desire, but I have come across the same issue what I had in the past with some other ROM (don't remember which one) - phone is not possible to actually use as "phone" because when incoming call is ringing, the screen is black and takes 5-10 seconds until it switches back on... We have also experienced some other bugs - crashing of applications, too laggy, but the one with black screen is the worst one... can somebody help please?
@spezi77 - thanks for keeping our Desire alive! It is a miracle having latest ROMs after so much time of using the device :good:... by the way - which ROM would you suggest to install for my wife? what is your most stable one? She is not a "tester" as I am, so she really needs something solid... Thanks.

That's a known issue for all KK roms on HTC Desire. I personally think that our device/hw is too old and would slow things down, like in this case.

Solid rom for Desire means going back to Gingerbread. ;)

so, if I go back to some Jelly Bean version, this issue will disappear?

unfortunately, not many applications support Gingerbread anymore... I meant which one of your ROMs you would consider as the most stable one... preferably Jelly Bean / KitKat...

Yes spezi77, what is your suggestion for a nice motor inside the HTC Desire Bravo?

Hi, I do not understand how to do the following:
Boot ROM and enable A2SD before flashing GApps
Where am I supposed to do this?
thanks a lot in advance, can't wait to try this rom properly

EDIT: Nevermind I got it. It's not available in this thread so for completeness I'll add the instructions:
Open terminal emulator
Type su, press enter
Allow superuser access (always)
Back in terminal, type a2sd install, press enter
Reply to questions with Y, N, Y (enter after each)
Reboot device

okee, now digging in the ROM! :)

Hey @spezi77, and others, as you mentioned earlier, the original AOSP dialer app does not work on HTC Desire + 4.4 ROMs. Has anyone successfully tried flashing or installing an older or 3rd-Party-Dialer app instead, which then worked better?

Hello, can anyone point me in the right direction? I have an old HTC Desire Bravo (the GSM version) and I want to install this version of the OS on it. I'm not sure where to start... Can anyone point me to a guide or briefly tell me what i'd need to do? :S I don't need step by step, but just a general idea would be great... Thanks... :)
