Hi Simonfzhao,
I've got this phone from China as well (U9510E).
Currently having the chinese version 4.0.4 (Build Number: U6510EV100R001CHNC00B122) but I am not able to install "Gmail" or "Google Play" store.
I am not the programmer expert but gadget guy who loves this phone and want to get the maximum out of it, hence I would like to try to put on it the International JB version.
I've re-read this entire thread few times and I've got some feelings that the Huawei is going to upgrade their website with the the JB version soon...
Question: Knowing your resources, is there any chance that this "here say" can become the true anytime soon?
thanks
Marco

Hi Andy,
I can see you know this phone "from back to front".
After your rooting and getting JB done are you able to install Gmail?
Thanks
Marco
Yes you can get GMail read step "7.5. At this point, you can either flash in the gapps right away, or flash it after rebooting into the OS. I chose to flash it after booting into the OS for the first, but I don't think it will cause any problems. I will be posting the way I did it, and if you guys did it the other way, let us know if it worked or not"
Gmail is part of the gapp and so is market and when you have market you can install gmail too!
What you mean by "is there any chance that this "here say" can become the true anytime soon?" The JB update he talked about is the generic one AKA anywhere outside of china. The chinese U9510e already had the JB update hence where these ROM (choice a to c) are based on!
Read it again all the answer is in the post
By the way did you root your phone?

Did a complete wipe. New boot animation now shows.
Admittedly, when I flashed LUV's, I didn't wipe prior to.
Will post with update soon.
EDIT: Bleh, still no go. I'm wondering if it's a region-specific thing now, whereby these ROMs won't work 100% on non-China based ones.
Downloading the stock ROM now.
UPDATE: Aaaand the stock recovery gave a "signature verification" error, and without advanced options, looks like I'm kinda stuck... (phone still boots up and runs the current ROM - LUV's JB - however)...
Hey I am suspecting it having to do with the chinese hand set too. They probably have something slightly different even thought all is called u9510E
I went back to stock twice with no problem.1st go to the huawei web and download the correct firmware 4.0 open the folder and there is a PDF with instruction in it. (something like put this fold to root of sd, power off and then hold volume up and down + power to boot into stock recovery) Use the tool that you flash the chinese recovery with first and choose option 2 ( flash stock recovery). once you in stock recovery and with the right folder in external sd root you will be back to stock with no problem. then root with bin4ry's restore method and you are done!
