Dude..
First tell, is the android keyboard there is disabled tick or not. it should be. Then press the "default Keyboard" which is present above the tick, then a popup will open when u select. If u still not getting it just install a keyboard from sd-card :)

And about the heat, it's not getting deep sleep maybe after first boot. Just restart phone once.

yeah~! i can use keyboard now..thxx a lot friends.. :)
beautiful rom..so smooth..


btw its still heat..not much then before i restart..

I can tell what i have done, am not asking anyone to follow.

I just used no frills and set the following:
1. Max 1024
2. Min 245
3. Governor: no change

My phone's heat came down and going smooth. Occasional lags but it's ok for me.

Got the working wifi version but dsp didnt work.. didnt try too hard to find out what was wrong though, as i had that zip on my SD card.

i have a MT15i, perhaps that could be the reason? dont think so, but hey, it works now :rolleyes:

Hi there im have neo v (rooted with unlock bootloader) and i want to install miu 2.3.23 i think in this rom everything is working , but i cant install it shows me error 7 . Why ? can somebody help me to install it right ? thanks

@DrearierJester1 @MaxWorks i did add english one you just have to set it in theme manager, cause chinese one is the default one
@demotapa @Madfysh sometimes when people are installing too many roms they need to flash stock rom using falshtool to fix ro.device before flashing roms that are basing on official ones
@partner22 make sure you wiped dalvik cache and try to reinstall rom

if i flash stock rom will i lose unlobootloader and root ? is there a way not to ?

hm ok, tnx for info. I always wipe entire phone and never had problems :)

what is unlobootloader? :)
you won't lose unlocked bootloader by flashing stock rom or any rom.
you will lose root by flashing stock rom.

you have unlocked BL, simply use kernel which already have root inside.

The user Morsy93 was also having problems instaling the zip because of the status 7 error and we were talking through PM about it. He flashed another kernel (Nightelf beta kernel for ics on Neo) and them he was able to install the rom :)
I'm just not sure if that kernel is compatible for the NeoV, though..

    This miui bases on Official final ICS (.587), so do not expect more than from official semc ics. Some apps are still from official semc rom (e.g. Radio) do not delete them, cause you may get FC's or loose features. Works with locked and unlocked bootloaders as well.​

    a) preferred:
    -stock from .587
    -Stock .587 (with recovery and addons like OC, swap, etc thanks to @htomasz and @shardul_seth)

    Bugs:
    -you have to select keyboard by yourself: settings > input > default keyboard > xperia TM

    Installation:
    +it's good to have baseband 77 from .587
    -flash any kernel for ics .587 through fastboot ot flashtool
    -do full wipe including dalvik cache
    -format /system partition (mounts & storage)
    -install miuixperia-neov-3.x.x.zip through recovery
    -boot up, restart to recovery (this is important)
    -install multilang (optional)
    -install control panel (optional)
    -install patch (only mt15i users)

    -new base, still .431 but I removed many unnecessary files that is why I recommend to do full wipe
