Nandroid Restore fails after installing this?

I had a perfectly working HC nandroid that I've been using to go back to stable environment when I can't live with ICS bugs.
After installing this ROM and guevor test15 kernel, I can run the restore (MD5 is fine etc and it restores data) but get's stuck at the eepad Asus start screen and won't go anywhere.
I've tried full wiping etc, but nothing works - something has changed in my TF somehow that will not allow me to use my nandroid.
Never had this with any other ICS ROM.

Any ideas what could have caused the change in my system that went beyond the abilities of a full wipe?

The restore functionality of CWM, does not restore the kernel, you have to flash the HC kernel first or the HC rom

Use apktool to decompile framework-res.apk or SystemUI.apk. Then you navigate to the res/drawable folders and you will find the png files

So, at least I'm not totally insane about the browser issue. :D

I did, however, have my first SOD on 1.0.4 w/test15 this morning. Not bad, I think uptime was at least 48 hours before it happened.

Unfortunately I had a major screw up - hit the format sdcard by mistake as I was being to quick with the button pressing (on auto pilot having done this more times than my GF cares to mention in terms of lost hours of my life!!), and lost the contents of my MicroSDcard!!! Ahhhhh!!!! Lost SOOOOO much data on my 32GB MicroSD...oh well, I'm still alive, but this will take many more hours to find all the goodies I've been storing. My pictures are sadly gone however.....
I know that this function only clears internal memory on my Samsung Galaxy S phone CWM, but not the same on the transformer!!

Which raises a question going forwards....
If I want to clean up the internal card of all the various folders created by installs over time, will the "format system/data/cache + factory reset wipe data" OR running the ARHD SuperWipe script achieve this goal?

No, but you can try the ARHD super wipe script, i heard it deletes the internal memory aswell.

So, I have tried everything I can think of but I am still having issues with gmail and calendar force closing very often. I have reinstalled gapps (different ics versions), tried different kernels, wiped cache and dalvik and nothing seems to fix this. I am not sure what else to do. Is anyone else in this boat?

ive downloaded this from your site several times and the md5 does not match.
Downloading from msticninjas main kernel thread does have a matching md5.

Just thought you should know.

Is there a way to add an icon (the good one) in the Quick App status bar to launch the Applications window?
What is this app/command that call this Applications window? Because sometimes I need to launch an app that is not in the Quick App status bar (I don't use it often enough to have it in QA status bar)?
So, last question, for The amazing Ricardo, can you please add this option in next release?

Hi there, im new to android, i would like to try a new rom, as my tf101 is getting slower and slower, i have ics installed. Can someone point a good guide how to do that, i know i have to root the device. I used to do all of that with my older devices, so i should have no major problems.

It doesnt apply to me but you should mention that this is WW release and not US nor TW. Just a little advice because people with SBKv2 could F**k up their transformers.

Try to wipe data. You will loose your files.
Also, don't restore anything from titanium backup, because it may cause those type of issues.

I think that depends on every launcher, but i'll take a look

This is AOSP, not based from asus stock rom. This is universal and works on any transformer. Mine is SBKv2 and i don't have any problem

    This is my new ROM based on CyanogenMod 9
    This includes more features that normal CM9 and also fixes so everything works like i should

    From 1.1.0+ you need to install kernels provided in the link below or wifi will not work

    The cornerstone build is still the old CM9 (4.0.3) because it is not compatible with 4.0.4, so it doesn't have the new features

    This rom is using stock kernel.
    Other kernels available in the link below
    If you come from the previous CM9 rom with a custom kernel, you have to download it again through the new link because i've made some changes

    First time install instructions
    1. Download the rom and boot into recovery (duh)
    2. go to mounts and storage, format data, cache and system
    3. Do a factory reset
    4. Install the ROM
    5. Install gapps
    6. (optional) Install custom kernel
    7. Boot into ROM
    8. Download and install Megatron Parts
    9. Have fun!

    PS3 Controller pairing instructions
    1. Connect your controller to the usb port and press PS button and test it to see if it works
    2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Menu (3 dot in upper right corner) > Pair PS3 Controller (and allow root access)
    4. Wait for it to pair
    5. Disconnect the controller from the usb port
    6. Turn on bluetooth (if not already)
    7. Wait for it to connect, if it doesn't press the PS button on the controller

    Now everytime you want to connect you controller, simply turn bluetooth on and press the PS button on the controller and you're good to go

    3G USB Dongle
    If you have a dongle with storage capabilities, do this first:
    Insert modem into pc and wait for driver to install
    check in device manager which com port is assignated to your modem
    download putty
    here the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe
    close every program related to modem
    run putty
    click serial below port number and then change port number to one previously founded
    click open
    write atz and press enter, modem should answer ok
    write ati and press enter, modem should give name, type, etc
    write AT^U2DIAG=0 and press enter, zero cd is now disabled

    Just insert the dongle and wait 2 min max and the signal bar should show up

    I'm really really sorry guys, but i've been really really busy.
    I'm not dropping support on Megatron, i've just been really busy.

    But now i'm going to start working on CM10 and see how it goes, so Megatron next update will be with CM10. And it's going to take a while because many things have changed since i left.
    Also, now i'm not going to be so active on the forum as i was in the beginning.

    Everything is fine.
    I've been busy these days with school things, but I'm also slowing the development a bit(nothing to worry about). This rom is not the only thing in my life (but it is a big part of it).
    And yesterday I upgraded my Ubuntu to 12.04, so I was out of the PC for some time.

    I want to release the rom as soon as possible, but is must be stable.
    I've been improving it (mainly the upcoming theme system).
    Now I just need to finish it, update the cm9 code, implement the new feature in megatron parts, test them and release.

    Edit: CM9 ported the T-Mobile theme engine to ics.
    So much work for nothing
