Wouldn't it be nice if you can keep an odexed ROM yet apply mods? Even better, apply multiple mods without worrying about boot loop? Presenting to you... Xperia V Mods and Smiley Replacer powered by the amazing Xposed Framework by rovo89. It should be pretty clear that to use the apps below, YOU NEED TO HAVE XPOSED INSTALLER AND THE FRAMEWORKS INSTALLED!. The requirement to install the framework is just ROOT.

Before you proceed, please note that these apps are provided without guarantee or warranty! Install them at your own risk! Though, limited support is given in this thread.

Generic Instructions
  1. Install Xposed Installer
  2. Install Xposed Framework (from the Xposed Installer app)
  3. Install the apps you want from below
  4. Activate the module in Xposed Installer app
  5. Configure the mods accordingly through the Xperia V Mods/Smiley Replacer app
  6. Enjoy!

Xperia V Mods
!!NEW: NavBar Height (back button size bug will be fixed later), Disable Scrolling Cache, Reboot Power Menu (long press on Shutdown), Advanced Reboot Power Menu, Home Launcher Auto Rotate
Download v1.2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i0guy3kpp8hoxn7/xperiavmods_v1_2.apk
!!NEW: Turn off Charging LED, Turn off Silent/Vibrate Icon
Download v1.1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7tf929wka691hqv/xperiavmods_v1_1.apk
Download v1.0: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3co17hjd1k7aym/xperiavmods_v1.apk

Despite the name, this app should be compatible with Xperia T and Xperia TX too since they are from the same "family". This mod will only work on Jellybean though! The screenshot below will tell you enough what it does. Yes! All these mods without touching update zips or going into your recovery to flash.

The * denotes that you need to (soft) reboot phone for the mod to take effect.

Smiley Replacer
Download v1.3: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9qxp2zu0xa6l842/Smiley-Replacer_v1_3.apk

This is a port of rovo89's Smiley Replacer to work with the messaging app on Xperia V/T/TX. Visit the thread for more info on what it does.

XThemeEngine

Ever heard of T-Mobile Theme Engine or CM10 Theme Engine? If you haven't, it's an amazing invention that allows you to change your Android theme with just a click of a button and allow themers to upload themes as APK file. XThemeEngine is bringing a similar concept to the table FOR ANY ODEX/DEODEXED ROM. Flashing zips to theme your phone will soon be a thing of a past.

Now here's a good one :) (I know we all think our own is good)
Toggle Sony theme engine on off, particularly useful when themes were flowing well.

Good work..How did you edit framework-res?
not sure in what context you're asking... the variable is in integers.xml.. can't remember the name though.

    EDIT: Released XThemeEngine beta: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=40428342

Feel free to request mods. If it's do-able, I'll implement it!

Just a quick teaser of XThemeEngine progress:

LunarUi II theme is by R3D X. This is an unofficial port. This quick (probably incomplete) took less than 10 mins.
