Welcome to phireMOD CM6!

Clean, simple, and extremely fast CM6

This is an enhanced, bloat-free mod of shu8i’s stock CM6. Consider it a "bare bones" mod made to be fast, simple, and reliable. I am not a dev or modding guru, but rather enjoy pretending to be one. With that said, I am not responsible for any damage or otherwise unforeseen problems you may encounter. Install at your own risk.

- As per the developers request, SetCPU IS NOT included in this ROM. Please download the latest version of SetCPU

Check the changelog below for updates!

Installation:
- Place the "Android" folder on the root of your SD card
- With keypad lights on, run "CLRCAD.exe" then "haret.exe"
- First boot will take up to 15 minutes
- During setup, skip all except for your time zone setting
- Wifi may need read "error" after turning on. Try again and it will work.
- Sign into Google account through the Market, let account sync
- Set wallpaper to a static image for better performance

To get your GPS working, unzip this file to root/system/lib/

NOTE 1: To avoid screen blackouts, disable auto brightness under display settings.

NOTE 2: To change the clock/notification colors to white in the Captivate Theme: Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface, then reboot

NOTE 3: Yes, the Captivate Themed version has a messed up widget upon first launch. Just delete it. SAMSUNG WIDGETS ARE NOT INCLUDED AS THEY DO NOT WORK IN CM.

NOTE 4: I am currently using 2.12 radio and EnergyROM for WinMo. If you use anything else you are at risk of running into problems.

NOTE 5: Sometimes getting GPS connected in Maps first will help it connect in other apps (i.e., Navigation, Car Home, etc).

nobody else having the random screen turn offs?stays on for bout 30 seconds and shuts off...have to pull the battery.tried 3 times.switching back to coredroid til i or someone else comes up with a resolution.

can anyone comment on the call volume? Is it just as loud as phiremod evoSkinny?
Most builds have low call volume.

So far so good, I only have some miner issue! Phone conversation sound break up, the orange light stay lid after boot to android, but it go away when plug in the charger.

The mms working send and recive, send is very fast,
