Samsung Galaxy Pocket is the latest addition to the galaxy series and it is among the smallest android handsets around running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

So, Here We started a thread with all info. about Galaxy Pocket! :good:

Root, CWM, Etc.

Root & Un-root:
Please read carefully to do this work, Here is a good how to link for Rooting your device.

Root Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 with Simple Steps
Source: androidust.com (Thanks for good HOW TO)

Root: Download
Unroot: Download (For unroot rename it as "update" before flashing)

Fully Working CWM for Galaxy Pocket! (vM00's CWM)

Download from Here (vM00CWM.zip)

Please Thank him to vM00 for giving us fully working CWM

Instructions :
1) Copy the zip files to your Internal Memory
2) Go to recovery by holding VOL_UP+POWER+HOME
3) Choose apply update from sdcard and select vM00CWM.zip
4) Done, your CWM is ready to Play! :laugh:

BTW, the recovery is a Touch Recovery

Next Things are Custom Kernel (Preooted)

MMC Blocks Informations and all related stoffs available for you after we debuged them with my brother "androsamace", cause i dont have the device he gived me his device to discover the blocks and related things.

So!

Work in progress to fixe the recovery.

CWM is not permanent when restart again it will be stock recovery.

So Guys, i'm Brazilian and my little brother just bought a new Galaxy Pocket, but that root is not working. I think it might be because of the version...

It says "GT-S5300B"...

There is any way to root my device?

First Rom for the Galaxy Pocket and only few posts, come on guys, i've seen a million posts for not having any custom roms on many sites, and now that we have one the response is awful.
Great Rom and very fluid, work in progress but still great.:good::good::good::good::good::good:

Thanks for first good feedback
As you say many sites are having lot of question about the GP Rom, but till now no proper feedback received from users about Rom, If the response will be same,
may be i will stop that work......
