Wow those errors are critical, thanks for noticing (this is what happens if you release something after being over 40 hours awake)
That makes me think, can someone set it to mass storage mode and look at that files value?
Hi I really like the ROM!
But I have a few questions:
1) Sometimes it takes about 3-5 seconds for a screen to turn on, right after i turn it off - can this delay be fixed?
3) During a call the screen goes off - its natural - but when I take it away from my head the delay is a bit long for the screen to turn on AND when i press the home button it takes me to the homescreen instead of the calling screen as in the stock samsung ROM. I think that the stock behaviour is much better because it allows for an instant screen on during a call. Can this be somehow moderated?

2) I really liked the stock SMS app - the one in your ROM is not to my liking - colours are not as pleasant as in stock and the font is too large Can I somehow have the stock SMS app instead?

4) Can you add a few stock SGS Plus widgets like the callendar and weather as an option? I really loved them in the stock ROM (i used to have the whole uni-planner shown on the main screen's callendar widget). I also think that the stock weather widget is the best looking one out there, so its a shame to remove it. At least give an option to add it please
If these 4 questions of mine could be answered I am quite sure that your ROM would be PERFECT for me.
I consider a donation as there really arent many good ROMS for SGS+ out here and I would like to support you and thank you.
P.S I changed from motorola defy and for the DEFY there are so many more good roms like wiui, miui, cm7, cm9 ... for sgs+ i really cant fine anything i liek yet except YOUR ROM.
Thanks again and best of all!
Hei brood, thanks for your hard work! I would have liked to try the rc5 from my cm9 but had some problems. Tried to flash it via Odin and first time... it never booted up, only the bootanimation. Then i realized that i had only whiped dalwik so i whiped everything else, tried to re-flashing it, and in the end it booted, but gave me many force closes, i couldn't even set it up. Tried as many times as i could but nothing worked, so i came back to my cm9 with one difference I think, the recovery. I think I have yours, which is different from arco's one, isn't it? I'm sorry, i couldn't wait to try your rom!
Inviato dal mio GT-I9001 che di originale non ha più nulla ed ora anche con la CGM9 usando Tapatalk 2.
ok I'll try ODIN.
Will my recovery partition and my SC-Card be formated too? Or is it just a data/cache wipe ?
Thank you, i'll try todayumb3rts for you I would say to do like I did and all is fine: reflash arco`s recovery with odin, download from 1`st post the broodrom cwm backup zip and extract it to your /sdcard. Reboot into recovery, do a factory reset/wipe data, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Then restore the broodrom from backup and restore menu in cwm using restore from internal sdcard. After it`s done, go back to wipe cache, dalvik cache and do a factory reset/ wipe data, restart and "voila"
Thanks a lot! What about the messaging app? Any chance to have the stock version in this ROM?For screen delay (I had it too btw) you have to change sleep governor and its frequencies (I`ve put ondemand with 245Mhz min and 368Mhz max and wake up it`s a bit faster)
For the calendar and weather you can use the GOCalendar and GoWeather widgets are really cool and beside that you can set transparency too
Incall screen on/off it`s same as sleep so if you change sleep governor and freq it will be ok.
same for xeGeox

I know there are some good messaging
Apps in the market but I believe that the best way is to have least additional 3rd party apps installed for essential phone functions like calling, contacts, messaging etc.
Why do I think so? It can be compared to having a stock Lamborghini Gallardo which is prefect in its every stock way to having a decent car with a lot of tunning. And come on, we all know that Lamborghini is better and more reliable I'm obviously not dead serious but want to give you the idea of how I see it.

Hi brood, I've a problem with your script 01broodrom
I've set sleep min freq to 122, sleep max freq to 358, but with ondemand and minmax governor (I've tested these) in sleep mode the CPU remain on 358(I've seen with no-frills CPU statistics)
How can I solve?
In sleep mode my CPU doesn't go to 122!
It's normal?
Oh...another problem, with custom label editor:
I've writed a custom label, I've used "push" in windows, my phone have restarted, but label is broodRom rc5, why?

go to http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=25313859&postcount=3897 and you'll find the answer.
These are correct.Did you reboot your phone?
If so, check the output of 'cat' against the following files:
/etc/virtuous_oc/sleep_governor
/etc/virtuous_oc/sleep_max_freq
/etc/virtuous_oc/sleep_min_freq
/etc/virtuous_oc/wake_governor
/etc/virtuous_oc/wake_max_freq
/etc/virtuous_oc/wake_min_freq
to see if the script works,
and against these ones:
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
for realtime values.
Don't use the script along with app like CPU Master or SetCPU or so. Their profiles management can interfere.
well, how is rc6 going? What base will you use? And did you allready start working on rc6?
