CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at any of us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
 * Collectively, and at the same time.

This is the support thread for CM10 on the AT&T Galaxy S II Skyrocket. It is still a major work in progress, so please make sure you have a backup that you can restore if you run into problems.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view http://changelog.bbqdroid.org for a full list of changes.

IRC SUPPORT:
Join us in #teamchopsticks on Freenode IRC network.

DO NOT ASK FOR SUPPORT IF YOU FLASH A DIFFERENT KERNEL!
The kernel packaged with CM10 is very tightly coupled with the ROM code, now more than ever with the advent of Project Butter in Jelly Bean. If you install a kernel different from the one in this ROM, please do not ask for any support.

Experience issues? Please provide the following info:
  • If the device was hard reboot, please provide the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
  • If the device was soft reboot or is "bootlooping", please run a logcat and provide the full output.
  • Please use Pastebin when possible.

reporting in -- works as advertised, thus far. Google Now does indeed work with voice for me.

    Update on camera

    We now have Torch and the front camera working. Back camera is still a no-go but progress nevertheless.

    Hey, guys, just a quick update on the delay in CM nightlies and no new TC alpha release. We are working like crazy to get this thing stable but the jellybean updates to the kernel have not been kind to us. We are making progress now, but there has been a lot of one step forward, two steps back.

    We hope to release something soon, but for the time being, hang out a bit. Know we aren't ignoring the build.

    Also, we have a fix for SMS >160 chars!

    Nightlies have started!

    Hello all,

    As you have probably seen, we have FINALLY gotten to a point where we can enable official CM10 nightlies. Please see the OP for all the information. The short, short release notes: less crashes, more smoothness.

    If you are on alpha3, we highly recommend that you install the latest nightly. It should be much more stable and complete.

    Special thanks to the #teamchopsticks testers: Holo, yuril, LegionsKnight, teckmik, Meanstreak, p_l_a_y, Rikk, Vlad. You guys rock. We really appreciate the help with debug.

    And finally, sorry that I have been on radio silence on this thread. We have been all consumed trying to debug the stability problems. I'll try to check xda more often now.

    P.S. Since Jelly Bean is so tightly coupled to the kernel and the governor now, we highly recommend you stick with the kernel baked into the CM10 ROM. Also, given all the stability issues that we have cleaned up over the past few months, mixing and matching a different kernel with this ROM is just going to lead to confusion, inconsistent performance, and little hope of debug. Basically, if you install a different kernel, may god have mercy on your soul. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MRmxfLuNto
