Wow! This is great!
I have the virgin mobile CDMA USA and have LTE
Chop chop and twist for camera work
MMS works instantly

For an alpha its quite usable for now. It was a little buggy after the first boot and I was skeptical lol, but a reboot and its been nice and smooth for the last 30 min of playing with it.
I did not flash any APN fix or any mods.
I used openGapps arm 7.0 pico gapps.

Thank you once again Alberto!

tested it with aroma gapps 7.0 (only apps that I needed)
Butter smooth! and better performance than cm13.
Didn't expect that! I went back to cm13 and I am waiting for cm14.
I think you can use it as a daily driver (Based on my experience with it always!)
Great work alberto!!!

EDIT
I didn't delete the file you tells us to before booting and everything went fine. no FC or anything!!

I fixed that wiping again (like when installing a clean ROM, including internal storege) flashed rom, flashed mini GAPS, skiped the deletning step (the "mount system" thing) and voilá, everything works well.

When the Google said that The Android Nougat would be more friendly with middle and low end devices, they weren't kidding, Thanks Alberto, you are THE MAN :)

wait what is the difference between asop and cyagenmod?
Not much really. I am pretty sure though that cm will be more actively developing by our favourite Alberto, as he states it in the OP. If you can't wait a few more days (I hope) for cm14 then flash AOSP for now. If you have problems (e.g home button not working) try not deleting the apk file Alberto says. It worked for me and the rom is solid! Performs better than cm13 IMO

not that much, AOSP is more stock Google.

also CM might have more added features than something "AOSP" based.

last but not least, CM is AOSP based aswell just more modified. and some extra/different sources
for hardware compatibility. and little things like
optimizations.

also CM had been around almost as long as Android itself, and is likely to continue on until the end. so it maybe in better interest for some people
as updating is streamlined and novice friendly also possibly more reliable as far as support goes.

HTML:
AOSP is stock Google's Android
CyanogenMod is based on AOSP, but has some more featurest and apps.
@Alberto97 great! Great work! It's really stable and fast! For now, no crashes (OpenGApps pico and SuperSU v2.76) and is really smooth!

We can root this rom by just flashing supersu v2.76??

    The Android Open Source Project
    Code:
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

I don't know how frequently I'll update this, it depends on the free time I have.
DUAL SIM DEVICES ARE NOT SUPPORTED FOR NOW due to some proprietary things which I don't know how to handle properly now and I don't know if I will add the support in the future.
Yes, a decent browser is missing, I'll add back the M one in the future.
From now I'll probably focus more on CM than this.

    Tips
    • Go to SystemUI Tuner -> Other -> Show restart in global actions menu to enable "Reboot" button in the power menu (this is a port of Sony's attempt to add the Reboot button to AOSP)
    • Night mode and navigation bar customizations are shown by default

    Working
    • Boots
    • RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
    • Wifi
    • Bluetooth
    • Camera
    • Video Playback

    Not Working/Bugs
    • Camcorder (tip: it works on Google Camera after setting video quality to 720p)
    • HDR (tip: it works on Moto Camera)
    • Permissive SELinux

    Installation
Requires Unlocked Bootloader & a custom recovery

    1. Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD
    2. Reboot in Bootloader Mode
    3. Go to "Recovery" (Vol +/Vol -) and confirm (power)
    4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
    5. Install the ROM zip
    6. DO NOT REBOOT
    7. Install the Gapps zip
    8. Reboot

I know you guys like this project a lot (downloads confirm this) but the problem is that I don't have time enough for keeping it up to date. Also the incoming VoLTE support for our roms would add even more work to do on this.
I'm closing the thread then, not sure if I'll revive this project in the future. I hope so.

@Alberto97 Does it support VOLTE? If no, any tricks?
Search a freaking thread or read at least a couple of latest pages and don't ask stupid questions! All info is already here, you just need to fight your laziness, open your goddamn eyes and read. Do you really think no one asked about that before? Stop spamming the thread with the same question, help yourself, try to find information by yourself, no one is ought to answer the same stupid question a thousand times. We are not paid tech support guys, that's YOU who is interested in getting needed info, so do some research before posting.

I guess, some people need a quick tutorial about how forums work:
    1) You search over the Internet.
    2) You search in dedicated threads on forum.
    3) Still no info? Well, now you are free to ask your question.

Is it so complicated? If yes, than you better stick with a stock ROM and don't annoy other people.
