Inactive WiFi Showing as Active in Battery History

It's anyone having their WiFi showing as active on their battery history, even though it's turned off?

Did you uncheck the wifi scan even when wifi is OFF in advanced settings?

I want aware of that option, but it seems to have done the trick. I wonder how it will affect battery life, if it all.

wifi may also get used in combo with gps check location settings.
