[Q] Hotspot - max. number of connections

Hi,

how many simultaneous connections are possible when using the mobile-hotspot-feature in the phone?
I can't find anything in the settings....

at Google support they say: 8 simultaneous connections

But it can be more or less when u dont use the standard app i think

I mostly think only 5 possible connection can be made.

My friend sets his up in the bar regularly as towards the back you get no internet connection so they just bunny his phone, but I think he gets a good 6+ without an issue. He has a Samsung gs2 and a HTC titan though.
