I realize this question has probably has been asked or stated before. How is battery life with old firmware with CleanRom? I'm running CleanRom now with the newest ICS leaked firmware. I haven't flashed anything sense we got S-Off, getting the itch to change something up. ;)
Should be about the same. Only difference is the radios. Will still use same kernel.

Decent Battery and Great Signal on GB + JB hboot + CR4.3Pro

I realize this question has probably has been asked or stated before. How is battery life with old firmware with CleanRom? I'm running CleanRom now with the newest ICS leaked firmware. I haven't flashed anything sense we got S-Off, getting the itch to change something up. ;)

I am running CR4.3Pro with old firmware patch on Stock GB with JuopunutBear hboot 2.11 upgrade from stock hboot 2.10. No hard data yet, but have not noticed any extreme battery drain. Have noticed that beginning with S=Off and JB hboot 2.11, my 4G has improved over 100%. Get a very good 4G signal where I had trouble getting 4G before. Had to laugh, I did not notice the back was off at first because the 4G improved so much. It was not until no wifi that I noticed the back was off. The Rezound has the wireless power back on stock 3.7 battery, so the Rezound is laying on the power mat charging most of the time. This is why not much battery run time. I switched to wireless power for the Rezounds since we wore out the Incredibles' USB to tether power to the Incredibles.

I am satisfied enough that I will stay with the current setup until I see more community experience with the May 9 OTA RUU to see if the new is actually better.

Kernel 3.0.16
Baseband 0.95.00
Build 3.11.605
Android 4.0.3
Sense 3.6
4G Signal -64dBm

Try pulling sim card for 5 minutes. Don't know if it will help but has fixed video in the past. They also updated Skype yesterday.

Just flashed this from Newt's Sense 4.0 ROM - Scott, you've done an amazing job. Loving the stability more than anything else. Thanks for your hard work!

Sense 4.0 is fun to play with but this is a real daily driver.:D

Agreed. I only have two questions though concerning this ROM and they're merely preference:

How do I remove the transparency on the notification bar completely? The tweak in Scott's Tweaks doesn't do anything (sorry if this has already been addressed)

And is there any way to change the battery icon to look like standard AOSP? I'm not overly keen on the swirl thing if I'm honest. Maybe I'm being too picky :D

    Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!

These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0 :D

    Instructions
    1. Download to root of SD Card
    2. Reboot to Recovery
    3. Flash Zip
    4. Phone will reboot to hboot
    5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
    6. Install boot.img when prompted
    7. Reboot when prompted

    Download the 3.13.605.7 kernel HERE

    Download the 3.14.605.5 kernel HERE

Np. Not trying to bite your head off or anything, but wipe is always almost recommended.

You get to go off on someone and get a thanks for that.

I post a killer ROM and then a mirror by request and I get **** :(

700+ downloads in 7 hours and I have 12 thanks. Im not complaining... But really?
