Have you checked if the file you downloaded is correct? Check the MD5SUM other users had download broken files.

which CWM are u using?

are u getting Error Status 7 Assert failed?

i have noticed that the CWM for locked bootloader devices has a issue of not correctly recognizing LT26i model number

But when i install the zip package, i got the error:
Symlink: Some symlinks failed
E: error in /sdcard/LT26-DooMLoRD-JB-200_prerooted.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted.

I have a lot of android.phone has stopped.

After that network connection is down and up again.

I will try to flash baseband with flashtool now.

Everything was erased before flashing the zip.

Same thing after flashing baseband again.. :(

Yep...error status 7...im using CWM recovery for Xperia S by tommyrumbler

Im getting this error so what can ido??

download the attached package...

its the FIXED Recovery installer for Xperia S ICS ONLY...
to navigate in recovery use VOLUME KEYS and use CAMERA KEY to select...

i repeat its for ICS ONLY and assumes that u have a rooted phone (su & busybox installed)...

just download the file and extract at c:\
AFTER extraction is over go in that folder connect device to PC with USB debugging enabled and then click install.bat
once installation is over device will auto reboot into recovery...

now just flash the ROM package in recovery :)

are u getting Error Status 7 Assert failed?

    try this:
    http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=42023282&postcount=117

    useful post:
For those getting error 7 try this:

Get into recovery and see. if /system is mounted, unmount it first!.
If it isn't mounted mount and unmount

The trick is that if it can't mount then it will fail with error 7. So if you can't mount and unmount don't flash DoomLord's Rom yet

You need the FIXED recovery that DoomLord uploaded.

Now we have to fix the script DoomLord uploaded. Download DoomLord's fixed recovery and right click the install.bat file and select edit.
Near the end of the file there is the line that says reboot. erase that line!!

It seems there are times the reboot is too fast and the recovery install is interrupted. So we will have to reboot the phone manually.

Now save the file and run it. As you can see in the script's last lines they begin with the word su. That means it is asking for root. If your phone has root there is a chance a dialog appears asking for permission. say yes!!! if it doesn't ask maybe a toast message will appear saying "shell has been granted root permissions"

Anyway you should be checking your phone's screen constantly

If you see either the toast or dialog then we are fine to reboot and it will automatically enter recovery. repeat step 1 to verify if you can mount and unmount /system.

If you didn't see any of those then you might not have root and need to root first!

If after all this you can mount and unmount /system then you shouldn't have trouble to flash just remember to unmount /system before flashing the room.

    That's it good luck.

Click thanks if I helped you.
