So after a long 3 days aroma works and will install the rom. Now I have to add options. I think you all will be pleased. Im gonna try and add gapps to aroma so you all wont have to flash a seperate package.

Anyways you could add the CM Power widgets to this ROM? I know it's AOKP but those cm power widgets are awesome.

You do know that those widgets can be added in the quicksettings in aokp?

Any chance you'd be willing to do an alternate build of your latest with the "buggy" hidden navbar mod included? I've been running Steve's most recent release with zero issues. The only thing close to an "issue" is that once hidden navbar is enabled, you just have to pick the navbar's height. After that its been flawless.

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

Still having a ton of issues with settings in ROM Control not applying. I'll change something but it won't apply or even remain selected when I leave the menu.
Also, my navbar won't toggle in the power menu

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

Just merged hiding navbar. I have to add all the other commits. Im tired and stressed but im gonna try to get all this done and let it compile as i sleep. Aroma is taking its toll on me. Tomorrow I will add the Aroma that ive got so far. Pretty much its just a changelog and the installer. So no real options yet. Ill get there. This may seem like no big challenge. Not a developer so this is all new to me.

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

I've noticed this with every AOKP ROM but never asked, but does changing the signal and WiFi color just not work? I've never been able to successfully change the color without applying a theme. Roms been smooth for me so far. Great work

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

Not a big fan of hiding navbar. It doesnt pull up when i try to get it to. If you enable hiding navbar the dock in the launcher goes straight to the bottom of the phone and when you do pull the navbar up it overlaps the dock.... you all asked for it so its there. I will not support it as I see it as a broken feature.

New build is up! Enjoy....

Re: [Rom] [Linaro] [Tweaks] [AOKP Merged]

Guys changing signal color works 100% of the time if you know what its suppose to be doing. So lets start there. Long story short your bars aren't going to change colors those are image files and i can't imagine how big/how many images would be needed to make it so you could change the bars to any color you want. The signal color changes for if you have it shown as text as that isn't a billion different images that would need added to the ROM making it unimaginably big. Basically the text is XML that can be changed with out needing images. The reason they change with themes is because they are replacing the images that were there with the ones they created. See below 100% working.

No feedback? Thought someone would have said somethin..lol unless everyones happy....

Thanks for this Sir if I was still able to compile my own builds you have exactly what they would contain. I'm having no issues. My only thought is I wish unlinking mute states would stick after reboot. Although I know that's not your doing.

I had quite a few people ask me to do this so here it is. My AOKP kangs. I have lots of merged commits and optimization in these builds for your enjoyment.

If you have the GSM version of the Gnex (Maguro) you can find my builds here= http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2339744

    Few things:
    1) All code is written by the members of team AOKP.
    2) I am not a developer. I am an Android hobbyist.
    3) I am not affiliated with team AOKP, therefore any issues you have with the ROM cannot be brought to team AOKP

Please before you flash anything, I beg of you to backup your EFS partition. If it gets corrupted and you don't have a backup, there is NO FIX.
    Here's how

Go into TWRP (make sure you are on 2.6.0.0.) then go to back up. Uncheck everything BUT EFS. Name the backup EFS and swipe to backup. That way not only do you have a backup of the whole phone but you have a backup of just the EFS partition.

    ####### FULL LINARO & -03 OPTIMZATIONS #######

Pulls the Linaro 4.7 chain and places it into prebuilts/gcc/linux-x86/arm
Modifies my build repo and a few other build files to direct it to the new chain
30 different linaro patches and optimizations made by the linaro team that improve the performance of the rom
-modifies the kernel I am currently building with to allow it to build Linaro
-Modifies the device specific repos to allow it to build with the linarochain
    Set the building variables

Ok guys, bad news. My wifes company is getting shut down and I will need to pick up extra hours. I will not have time to do android any more. I want to thank every one of you for supporting me and AOKP. You all have been f'n amazing. I have a good friend Akellar who is part of team AOKP and he does some really good builds. If youre looking for a new home. GO SEE HIM!!!

Again, I am very thankful I had everyone of you as users. Sorry I couldnt keep it going. AOKP 4 life!!!! lol

I told Akellar he could have the next post for his rom link and description.

Re: [2.22.13] [Rom] [4.2.2] [Aokp] [Aroma] [Linaro] [Lots of options]

Keep up the great work man. I've been lurking in here, but I have to say that your dedication is admirable and really great for the community :good:

Thanks. Back when I knew nothing about android I noticed that the devs would shy away or get easily aggravated. I want everyone not to look at me as a dev or rc but as just another person in the crowd. I post my gtalk where everyone can see it because I know how frustrating things can get. In the end I just want everyone to feel at home in the thread.
