Even at 4.1.2 you have a locked bootloader, what he meant was you can unlock, if you look at my profile under contact is a homepage url to my androidfilehost I have all the files needed to prepare to flash this stock 4.4.2 rom from this thread, the rom should still be available from the op, you should not have to flash the 4.3 rom as the 4.3 radio is a firmware flash, ND7 radio is flashed in custom recovery after the 4.4.2 rom.
You do not need to do anything to the apn, unlocked means a lot of things.

Has anyone been able to get Android Pay working? I'm using the deodexed version of this rom with Agni 4.4.5 kernel and xposed framework. I also have Wanam setting the device status to "official". I tried unrooting, but I get a message about the phone or software not being verifiable.
I was on the search for a stock style ROM that I could use Xposed Framework to get some custom features but still keep the S-Pen features and LOUD speaker.. This was so far is perfect!

getting unlock bootloader
i know I'm late to the party but is there a way to unlock the bootloader after being updated to 4.4.2? i have tried to roll back to 4.1.2 with no luck on it so i cant try any of the methods that i have found to work with that verison

It's OFFICIAL!! 4.4.2 KitKat! Come get it! Not for use with safestrap as it requires the boot.img to be flashed.
- Install steps:
- Recoveries:
- Coming from 4.1.2?
Once you have all these transfer ROM, Radio and SuperUser.zip to exsdcard.
Reboot into recovery
- PHILZ/CWM:
Once flashed reboot
Go through setup
Reboot back into recovery. Flash SuperUser.zip and then Radio.
Done..

UPDATED 06/18/2014!! Root now sticks with Philz latest only. TWRP causes write issues and root issues. Also KNOX has been fully removed! We will have the Official Tar up today as well..Hopefully that will fix charging issue with phone off

Well guys, I think we finally got it all worked out. May have been something wrong with our initial OTA download, so we redownloaded it and started from scratch. We have worked out the kinks from what I can tell. I am going to test overnight, but here is what we have:
Code:Deodexed No more knox Root sticks on boot init.d enabled busybox insecure boot.img

New radio and kernel.. we have the ota, 4.4.2, pulled and rooted..build will be up tomorrow17I just uploaded/updated the OP with two new builds.. I posted my findings with them below..
- No write data/app issues.
- Wifi works
- Root is if-y..If it does not work on reboot and hangs at "Disabling Knox" flash SuperUser v1.94
- Then re open SU disbale knox
- Profit..
We are continuously working on this today to get the best results..
