I noticed an app conflict issue while using Lux and Rings Extended. I'm no longer able to press on the OK button in Rings Extended unless I disable Lux. Something about Lux being a screen filter?
yep, add the app to the exclusion list.

I just downloaded lux on my unrooted moto x, and it doesn't appear to be working.
If I adjust below zero, I see the change, but if I adjust the level above zero, it doesn't seen to be doing anything....

Great app.
But there is one problem with the nexus 5/kitkat.
Every time I reboot my phone and lux app loaded it sets the brightness to 50% (My setting is dynamic) and don't change until I enter the app.
Any chance to fix that bug?
Hi. Not sure if this is a ROM issue or something else is going on. I'm on SHOstock-i v4.
Often I find the screen is too dim and trying to change settings has no impact. E.g., pressing + repeatedly or toggling auto/manual, etc. I'm on Auto profile. The % changes but I see no changes on the screen itself. I can slide to 100% or down to -100% and the screen brightness doesn't change at all.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Check if you have any apps which use overlays. These can conflict with Lux.I just downloaded lux on my unrooted moto x, and it doesn't appear to be working.

This is a feature to prevent people accidently blacking out their display. Will tweak it for a future version.Does the same thing on my Galaxy Nexus

Yep---
Swipepad is the source of the conflict, which means that I can't use Lux...swipepad is too important!
