battery life too short in galaxy s4 need help to extend it:eek:

Check out your battery stats/wakelocks using the below apps in case something is eating away at battery.

Switch off any sensors or radios that you aren't using like NFC, bluetooth, wifi/mobile data, airview, motion control, etc. Check all your apps to see how often they are set to sync. Reduce the screen time out time and lower the brightness to the lowest usable level. You can also turn off the lights for the back and menu keys. Use Greenify to hibernate apps to minimise the battery they consume in the background.

You could try different ROM/kernel combinations and experiment with different governors/settings.

You can also buy a spare battery and desktop charger so you can swap them out. Or one of the extended power batteries or cases with extended battery built in.

I usually reboot my phone at least every other day, to clear caches or any background processes and refresh.

Plenty of options..;)

How many hours does you battery last?

Is your phone rooted?

I had the same issue, but it's much better after I rooted the phone and installed The Legend v11.

Best regards,
