Great app! Makes Windows 8 worth while. One small suggestion though, It would be nice if it made a 30x30 image automatically from the 120x120 image (or just have it as an option).
New version released! (v0.8.8)
The function you request is included on this new version.
Infos and Download on main page
@Melandryu You can change your existing tiles in the tile manager (edit mode). Click on a shortcut in the list, then "Save Tile" and it won't appear anymore in Classic Shell pinned programs list.
New version fixed the manager for me. Strangely there is one tile that doesn't show in the manager but it is the one I edited manually so could be that though I only changed the path of what to launch so a bit odd.
Also, new version triggers the smartscreen "this app might not be safe" message, earlier versions never did, might want to look at that it's a bit annoying.
Thanks for the update!
Silly question alert. Does anyone have a good tile picture for OblyTile itself?

Dunno if this was reported, anyways, when you are running Obly Tile v0.8.8 on a Standard Account, it hangs, due it dont have permissions to write on %PROGRAMFILES%. Running Obly Tile as administrator it only create the tile to the administrator account but not to the standard account.
I was trying to find an old version of this program, the one that writes the tiles on a different location but I couldnt.
Can you built in Steam games support? When I try this now I get an error message.
<Your Steam.exe path>
steam://rungameid/<Your game id>
Oh thx!. But that, my friend, is a security issue, which could be exploided and put the system in jeopardy just for an icon... Thanks but no thanks :good:This is noted in the start post as issue;
If you want to use OblyTile on account's without administrator rights, you must create the folder "OblyTile" inside C:\Program Files\ and put full access on it.
Hi!
Today THIS (see attachment) happened to me after installing Google Chrome.
How? Why? Do I have to create them all again?
Cheers!
