Will root allow to bypass t mo restricted tethering?

Will root allow this or is it the custom ROM that allows to use native tethering function without a specific tethering plan?

It can be done on stock Roms but the APN needs to be edited

Do you know what the apn's need to be changed to for I can get unrestricted tethering on a unrooted stock Gs5. Thanks In advance!!!

Check out the infinity ROM in the development section in the 2 or 3 post are the instructions to do it
