Excellent will take a look as soon as my pc is operational :p thank you

You're welcome. Thanks for using my program. :)

Is it possible to root Galaxy Nexus running on 4.1 JB with FIDO network???

Possibly. You can try.

Cool to see more and more people developing using my library AndroidLib :D

Yeah, your library is excellent. I'm going to use it in Boot Animation Factory as well. That AdbInterface lib is not even close to yours. :)

I was wondering when using this app of yours, what state should the phone/tablet/device be in? ie: recovery, phone on but screen off, phone on and screen on etc etc. And I was wondering also how you are able to make it so that the app can root all sorts of different devices.

For most of the tasks, your device should be booted in Android OS mode. The buttons that execute functions that require the device to be booted in different modes are labeled with *s. For more information about this, read the help topics. :)

Issue with backup here! Galaxy Nexus.

I select system, data, boot, cache it acts like it is (the process takes about 3 seconds which is abnormal) and it obviously does not backup anything. any ideas? Thanks! Other than that I like it and the UI is great(simple and clean) keep it that way! Thanks Again!

Do you have all of the necessary drivers installed? Does the other features work for you? And what is the path to your sdcard in the Android system (I know the GNex doesn't have one, but I need the path to the storage memory)?

I have the drivers. the path must be /storage/sdcard0.. And yes the other features work, root check, device ID conf, log...

can this unlock Motorola photon locked boot loader?
No, it can only unlock the bootloaders of Nexus devices, like the Galaxy Nexus for example.
I've been playing around and I love this tool!

If in the future Network Unlock Function?

Thanks. :)
If by 'Network Unlock Function' you mean SIM-unlock, then no, because that's subjective to every device out there and there can't be a universal method of unlocking. Sorry. :)

I tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wifi) and it wouldnt let me. It kept telling me to connect my device when it was clearly connected to it. Any ideas on how to fix this issue of mine?

This my friend is a great tool,no more having to mess with SDK or any other individual tools, this toolbox is the best thing to happen for us devs, just about everything in one app, there are a few features i would like to see eventually, not to say you probably are working on it as i type, but odexing, deodexing, decompiling and compiling apk's and zip alligning, those would be the ultimate features to go with an already great toolbox app.Great job brother.

Thank you for your compliments. :) I already have some ideas of new features for the next version, but suggestions are always welcome. Odexing, deodexing and zipaligning are definitely on the future feature list. :)

despotovski01, I have two question (hope not that stupid):

1. If we backup a data partition, after wiping + flashing a new ROM, would restore the data partition be the same as a dirty flashing of the ROM?

2. Is it possible to generate a .zip file that restores all the apps installed (and the data) just after flashing a ROM (and gapps)? I mean, which files and folders should I include in this zip file to flash just after upgrading a ROM?

I've found on Google Play an app that tries to do that... But it does not work, i.e., the apps are not restored in my tests.

Hi Technical,
Here are my answers to your questions:
1. Yes, that would be the same as dirty flashing, except that you will have a backup of your data. :)
2. Technically, it's possible to do it manually, but it's hard to do. It's way easier to do a backup with Titanium Backup or another app backup app. In the future I'm going to implement that feature in my program. :)
