I also have the re-stickered 201, and mine does not tip over either. Very nice keyboard - much nicer than the keyboard on my HP netbook!

I got the true TF700 dock off Amazon. It has a seperate part number, and also says TF700 on it clearly. It fits very well, does not tip over even with the case on, and exactly matches the shade of mt TF700.

i bought a dock at amazon. it is tagged as AD01 and it works great. no issue on tilting, and works right out of the box. I got it for US$112 including shipping.
In case anyone is still looking, just picked up a "real" (aka not a re-stickered TF201 dock) for $99 at Best Buy. They're on sale this week.

I got a dock from Best Buy right after Christmas and it has the plastic bottom on it. I really want the metal one. I may have to try and take it back especially now that it is only $99.99.

I checked two stores last night and they said they had none of them. They said they were all the A01 dock. I was trying to convince them to let me go back with them to page through there stock 1 by 1 myself with them but they were having none of it. Really want to find one as the plastic bottom feels so cheap compared to the metal tablet back.

Most big box stores PRICE MATCH! so use it I got the combo at a great deal from best buy by price matching Sam's Club...
So do the home work save those bucks for lets just say... Class 10 Micro-SD cards heh, heh....

I bought the AD01 after not finding any older models at local Best Buys. Fortunately, I found a TF201 dock at Office Depot! OD did pricematch BB so I got it for $100. Locking mechanism felt the same on both. I did not notice any difference in viewing angles before it tipped backwards on a slippery surface. The color of the TF201 dock matches the Infinity perfectly, while the AD01 plastic is much darker and even the metal front is a shade darker than my Infinity. The traction pads and connector symbols are slightly different and as someone previously mentioned. I'm very pleased with the change and I recommend everyone scour their local stores.

If you look a couple of posts above at the pics of the labels, based on the part number, it looks like the real deal.
Technically, its the tf700 dock. But apparently they were relabelling 201 docks as tf700 docks - these are the metal backed versions. This has been a discussed a lot here and on other forums. Do a search if you're interested.
I picked up a Dock from Best Buy 2 days ago and it was the AD-01 Dock. I tried to find the one that was labeled TF700T but they didn't have any. When I was ringing up, it actually said on the computer TF700t Dock on the screen, even though it was clearly labeled the AD-01.
I did notice that the AD-01 had a plastic back and didn't seem to close completely flush. I took it back and got a refund. This is definitely a "one dock fits all" dock. The AD-01 has a much darker back, almost appeared gray. The Purple/Gray of the TF700t doesn't even match this dock. They don't look "bad" together, but they simply don't match.
Looks like the AD-01 was made to fit a few tablets instead of being designed to specifically fit the tf700t.

Thanks for the tip; I guess OD doesn't move much of its dock inventory. I checked couple local BBs, found about 30 AD01 docks, no TF201's. Both ODs I visited had two TF201 docks with July '12 S/N's each, no AD01's.
Clearly, the grass is always greener on the other side. At first we were looking for the one and only REAL TF700 dock as opposed to a re-labeled TF201 dock, then when the plastic AD01 came out and TF201 inventory dried up, we reversed course and started looking for the GENUINE aluminum TF201 docks. The irony of this is not lost on me...

It even came with the new firmware. Nothing installed when i first the tablet into it and its up to date. Feels great to me. Fits perfect. The lock clicks fine. I think that we are chasing the REAL TF700 dock for nothing. If people had problems with it fitting, they must have had a defective dock or tablet. Even if the real dock does exist, I'm 100% happy with this dock. Everything seems to work. All the buttons work. What do you have to lose? Get it from Best Buy, stickers over stickers or not. If you hate it or have a problem, return it! Best Buy is good like that.1
I second this, its stable all the way back. Give it a push and it might fall, but its not going to fall on its own. I feel that its safe.

I can confirm this also. Just picked up the dock from Best Buy today. Had a sticker over the tf201, but that may be a miss print because the same label has TF-700T-DOCK-GR printed on it.
