CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Installation
Requires Unlocked Bootloader & a Custom Recovery

Wipe System, Data, Cache Partitions (internal not needed)
Flash ZIP (don't reboot)
Flash TurboZ kernel Version 0.8.1
Flash Open Gapps (Aroma version recomanded)
Reboot
ENJOY

Troubleshooting
Any WIFI issues : install TurboZ kernel here
Camera Fixups : replace this file on your /system/bin with correct permisions (755 , RWXR_XR_X)
Add Sensors : install kernel adiutor app, from left side menu go to the "init.d", add new section, enter name (for example "fixups") and do not remove first line and add this command on it "motosh boot"

Installed two times but not luck booting coming from stock 7.0 on decrypted European XT1650-03.
At this point I really don't know if issue is related to my system because neither can't get root in stock 7.0

Hello I have android 7.0 bootloader blocked as that can not return to 6.0.1? You can by fastboot flahs image or lite rsd not? Very thanks

It says that there is a Parsing Error, so it doesn't work (probably because it is from Android 7 and im still using Android 6).

    I need more time to compare ramdisk files of stock boot partition and my CM boot partition

    In previous post I saw my CM got boot loop in bootanimation when he flashed stock boot backup

    So I thought this boot loop maybe is about zimage(kernel) so I made N-fix zip witch only replace cm/turboz kernel with nougat stock kernel

    But that's not working and didn't fix warning bootloop

    Now things is possible to make this problem is dtbimage and ramdisk files

    I suspect in dtbimage more than ramdisk but I need to look at them both

    Sorry for delaying I'm working on YouTube bug ;)

    Yes lineageOS is almost ready

    For Motomods I need to port Motomods Manager app to CM, i mean all other things like drivers are ready now, but this mod manager app porting is so difficult for me because it's using some system frameworks are only found in stock ROM and it's not open source.
    So for mods we need to develop another mods manager or we have to hack that app

    Our main goal is booting on nougat bootloader, @ sebirdman and Rabih Salamey working hard to boot it, they build better TWRP with encryption blobs for N but still some things like partition verification doesn't let us to complete boot in N

    I'm working to solve other bugs and other implementations

    New build (lineageOS) will be available in next week's or months
    But source code is more updated than this thread builds if anyone knows how to build ROM Thay can can use our source codes it's free and available to public
