Thanks for that! I'm glad it works well on the S4. I haven't had a chance to test it there yet. :good:

Long time that I don't stop by...
Just a quick update to let you know that this project is still in progress. I haven't updated it in a long time, but I still plan
to go back to it one day. Sorry for the long long wait...
By the way, a question... Do you guys know the Google API that TrackMe uses will be obsolete? I remember that Google extended
the expiration, but I don't know until when. I need to upgrade the viewer before that happens... If there are any volunteers please say something!
Thanks. :good:
My understanding was that was 11/19/2013, and my TrackMe is still going well. So I don't know if they delayed it more, or the automatic v3 wrapper they're doing is working fine.
I got stuck on converting to v3 and stopped, I really need to give that another go. Maybe over Christmas vacation.
Hi,
I am getting the following error when trying to upload my offline positions, do you have any ideas.
Error uploading offline position (An exception occurred during a WebClient request. ). I am using my own server, it has been working for over a year now, but all of a sudden I am getting this error.
Thanks in advance
oh, I just realized... Are you using the Windows Mobile version?
Great to see you back on the case, still use the app every day
The feature I miss most from my old windows phone days is where in the event of internet failure it would continue to log positions and then upload them automatically once back on line. Currently I get loads of big gaps, hope that is on your to do list
Hey _LEM_,
welcome back to this Thread ...
I am so happy that you back again !!
Hope you remember me
I have some ideas (can we write per Hangouts, FB, etc ???)
Sorry for the delay...
Yes. Check this link where it says "How to use your own server"

You need a Google Maps API Key.Hi
i did try to make this work on my server, but it doesnt displays the map (google maps)
the android client (app) sends the data up to the server/database, the webpage connects to the database, but the map and the track doesnt show.
can somebody help me with this?
or should i just use this?
https://github.com/bfabiszewski/phpTrackme
btw this one works flawlessly
thanks
Sorry you have right. Can you send me a link to your site? On my webserver it works well. But here it says:
How to use your own server
TrackMe already provides a server that can be used free of charge by any user. However, if you want to use your own server, you can use the installation package that jcleek created for TrackMe.
Download installation package (Google Maps API not needed)
