I'm running Vision X N3 T-Mobile and flashed the Ice Blue link provided ok Axman's page and noticed in the stock messaging app when I type I cannot see the message that was typed. Has this been addressed? I flashed some color theme for just the messaging app that was provided in his thread by someone else for a temp fix for now but would like it to match.

So I think you indicated that you used my theme from this thread and flashed the white message mod option at the end to fix it, correct?
I was not aware that the messaging was a problem for the N3, since I don't have it.

Great theme john, I am trying ton enable the stock Samsung boot animation and even with Axe s custom boot animations disable r, I can't get the Samsung one bqck... Any suggestions

assuming that the rom you are using has the original boot animation still in the directory,
it would be named:
bootsamsung.qmg
and
bootsamsungloop.qmg
and would be in the media folder.
if they are there, then you can get the enable/disable from here:

Make sure you use the correct one for the rom you are running.
This one is the blue ice theme for the note, with white background for messaging.

So as long as we don't flash the xml, your themes should work on the note 3?? I'm running X Vision by Axman on the note 3

Yes, the themes will work without problems on the Note 3 if you do not flash the XML, the icon for the launcher will not change however, because the Note 3 uses a different launcher.
The Ice Blue theme should be included in the note thread, this one has the xml that works with the phone, but it is just for that one theme.
The link for that one, if you have a white background in the message entry is a few posts above, if it is not in the Note3 thread yet.

Okay, if you have a SGS4, then the xml should work, but sometimes the new version of a rom is changed enough to cause an issue.
could you tell me the specific version of the vision-x rom that you installed so I can add xml that will match to the installers.
ie: XXUFNB9 or VJUFNB2 or VLUFNC1 etc etc

This should work on all the KitKat touchwiz roms that are out there!
The default background for text message entries is Black with White letters,
if your rom has a White background with Black letters,
choose the Msg White Tweak after choosing a Theme.
Aroma Installer is a little temperamental, so if you get a Please Wait message or
it doesn't seem to have taken your selection, just hit the next button again.

Otherwise you will only see the default google white battery icon.
INSTRUCTIONS
Just hit button again if it doesn't seem to work the first time (aroma is buggy)

Screen 1 : Welcome -- just info and version number, hit next to continue
Screen 2 : Choose the Theme that you would like to install:
Black, Jade, Purple, Red, Blue, Tangerine, TLime or TBlue
Stock (revert graphics to Stock VisX)

After you pick a theme, header text color will change to the color

What do I get with XML tweaks?

The messaging background on Europe roms is Black with White Text
The messaging Background on ATT USA is White with Black Text
(this is not the bubbles, it is the message entry screen)
The default in the themes is Black, choose White if you need to
Black - keep default Black Text Msg Bkgrnd
White - Change to White Text Msg Bkgrnd (like SHOstock)
Screen 8 : The Wizard is ready to begin installation
Last chance to go back and change your mind,
otherwise hit Install
