Hi guys, i'm presenting to you my ported rom from Xperia Ultimate HD 5 by @jader13254 available with fully support for our XPERIA PLAY. The most popular and smartest rom ever created. I've modified this rom to get it working for our device, and made a looot of changes to get a really beautifull, fast, smart, and compatible rom for XPERIA PLAY... I've compiled, decompiled, changed apks, and a lot of work to give you the latest Xperia Z experience...

Here is a list of features of this rom:
  • Fully working touchpad compatibilty, farenheith tutorial (thanks to him)
  • Xperia PLAY launcher it is shown when we slide the gamepad out.
  • Fully Xperia Z experience.
  • Xperia Z framework.
  • Tweaking and scripts to get it fly in our device! :D
  • Adreno Drivers
  • Xperia Z apps (clock, settings, statusbar, phonebook, contacts, etc)
  • Pure AOSP Gallery (Saves a lot of RAM and have a lot of features).
  • Xperia Z lockscreen.
  • Facelock fully working.
  • Gamepad fully working.
  • Edited build.prop with the proper properties to get more game compatibility.
  • Very good memory RAM management.
  • Root support (SuperUser)
  • Added file manager (Explorer)
  • Added Boost My Xperia (from gagan.u20, thanks to him).
  • Added modded Google Search (look like JB).
  • Xperia Z launcher.
  • Added WALKMAN with xLoud and ClearPhase working.
  • WhiteMagic fully working.
  • Tweaks for save battery.
  • Very light ROM.
  • Installation of the rom is done with AROMA installer.
  • High LED brightness (notification LED).
  • Xperia Z fonts.

Bugs:


1_if you want change lockscreen wallpaper : just copy your pictures in \system\etc\customization\content\com\sonyericsson \wallpaperpicker\wallpapers\
the pictures should have a thumbnail , look this : if your picture name is 001.jpg so thumbnail should be 001__small.png
convert png images to jpg , this make your lockscreen faster

The kernel included in this ROM is located HERE.I have not altered anything.

Man so many new ROMs out and I can't try any because I'm stuck on job. Anyway it looks good. Can't wait to try it

Hey Bro, do u mind if i can borrow the theme of this rom?, the ui of it... not the toggles... :D, It would look great in my Ice Cream Speed Rom , :D
Also GREAT work in porting it, i tried ages ago and it worked but i got alot of FC's, ;)

known bug "Putting two fingers in the launcher, xperia home forces close, only in Xperia home."

hi OP,

may i know that if the bug can be ignored if i install another launcher, e.g. Apex?

    i have released ULTIMATE HD 5.0 with wifi fixed and running smooth(1 release yet but stable and almost bugless)..i dont know if i add it here to OP or i release it on XDA to replace this one that seems stopped..or OP not updating. not advertising just saying as i liked a lot this rom.;)
    @gangstermartorell if you want we share credits and work together on a 5.1 version..if you want please tell me.:)

    2. reduced size
    3. battery life improved,use lupus gb+ics V7
    4. more free ram
