Battery (HB 20120820): In my case on heave use about 20 to 24 hours, normal use about 30 hours or a bit more.

The last days i didn't have that much time. Maybe one hour per day display on, some calls, messaging, surfing and about 6 hours data or wifi enabled per day. Now i just reached the 3 days without charging and still got about 10 percent battery. :p

I'm just waiting for a new release, don't have time for testing.

First I have to say Great Work ! :D
But since the 2 latest test version (826, 828) it always do a FullWipe/ Factory Reset. I just want to ask if this is normal?

how to change power on animation? In 0828 build, I selected alternative animation, and I think the original one is better, so how to change it back?

heavy use? Really? I consider heavy use to be:

-more than 1 mail-account (i got 3, 2 gmail, 1 exchange)
-google plus
-whatsapp
-2 weather, 1 train, 2 system-monitor, 1 clock, 1 agenda -Widgets)

OC 1200 mhz, deadline, smartassv2, smooth

Not much calls/calling/sms

I have never-ever got more than 12 hours out off my battery.

As you see there's no real definition of "heave use".

In my case only 1 gmail, google talk, wifi or data enabled nearly the whole day (disabled at night), 1 weather-widget, surfing/calling/sms/gaming and some gps for google maps or train-departures. That are about 5 hours display on per day - for me that's "heave use". ;)

After testing the new kernel. I gotta say that the only thing I've noticed is little slowdown After dome usage.
Apps like chrome and dkc take more then 5sec to open and a fc dialog is appearing

Back to cfq, its the best for me

I also fell that last kernel us slower then before, get stuck once in a while and multi tasking isn't good as before

The one that was posted by derteufel in this thread after last build. Had same experience, so reverted back to builtin kernel.

Hey there, I have a problem with the newest test (2012 08 28).
I flashed the rom and restored the nandroid /data (like der teufel recommended).
Everything is fine so far except google play market.
It force closes everytime, it opens for a sec. and then its closed.
Tried to clear cache and fix permissions, no success.
Even reinstalling it from apk doesn't help an further...

does anyone have a clue?

thanks in advance...

Or settings>apps>Google Play store>uninstall updates could work.

Only if there's a change in partition layout,I think it will stick with 0828 one and if not will be specified by DerTeufel.

You could just reinstall rom changing your choice with aroma or extract the original from the zip (system/ all/media) to put it in your /system/media or /data/local.
By the way there is two bootanim dedicated to Helly on this post:
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=30291958&postcount=4082
Don't try the cwm zip it won't work with late Helly.Better put the one you'd want in /data/local if you want to keep it installed from rom to rom as long as data is not wiped.

Do you have a problem with media server after USB connection to PC (see if it consumes a lot of CPU time in processes and in battery usage)?

My guess is the datadata.
I think you shouldn't restore data, only apps.

Many thanks, to pawitp, FaultExeption, Jt1134, be18 and all the other people who commit to gerrit. without these, this rom wouldn't be possible

Since official CM10 alpha got released today, I don't think, that there still is a need to update this rom. Going back to normal kernel business.

uploading V2 right now to http://devil.haxer.org/jellybean/ as well as to http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/divers/jellybean/

because of my upload speed, this is going to take about 1 hours...

    changes:
    - rom slimmed down and gapps/su fix included (thx to bhu1)
    - replaced ear.apk with one supposed to work (user report)
    - replaced hw composer with the one from nexus s (this is the jb one, old release was using ics hw composer)
    - fixed recording of 720p (upstream fix to media_profiles.xml

    install instructions:
    - wipe (coming from previous version, you also can try flashing without wipe, and wipe only, if you are facing issues)
    - flash
    - fix permissions
    - reboot

    have to work now. cu

kernel 1.7.4 is online now :)

i'll try to summerize the changes quickly...have to sleep:

    - latest linux 3.0.46
    - latest changes from android kernel source
    - low mem killer changes from steve kondik (cyanogen)
    - updateted recovery to latest version
    - fixed charging issues
    - vibrator intensity changes from cm team
    - dynamical fsync by faux123:
The dynamic sync control interface uses Android kernel's unique early
    suspend / lat resume interface.

While screen is on, file sync is disabled
when screen is off, a file sync is called to flush all outstanding writes
and restore file sync operation as normal.

There was non working WiFi on Fishears 10/10 built too, maybe it just wasn't the good time to build.
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1896472&page=45

Had to clean my build folder. Wifi working now, after clean rebuild. I am trying to fix the other small issues, and upload the fixed version tomorrow morning... Compiling clean is taking many hours on my old computer...
