I am in the process of building PA 2.99 for the Verizon GS3. After I finished uploading that I will work on porting the ROM to the Sprint GS3, so expect some PA 4.2 Jellybean goodness in the next day or so!

Friend is having issues
Hello and thank you for this excellent rom! I put this PA on my friend's Sprint SGS3 for him and he's been having issues with text messages and calls.
With the stock text messaging app on PA he cant send text messages with more than 5 or 6 words, but google voice does not have this issue. He would prefer to use the stock messaging app if possible, but currently can't.
Sometimes when he finishes a call and takes the phone away from his face he cant get the screen to turn back on and has to turn the phone off to end the call. The screen will be black but the capacitive buttons are still lit up but not responding.
Any advice on how to fix this would be excellent, thank you!

Yeah its called githubs being a little bastard to me. Slow servers and such. I've been trying to sync all day. It locks up repeatedly
edit: Looks like its ParanoidAndroid itself that is all waked out. I think they are doing some changes on their side and thats why i cant sync correctly cause when I try to build my old rom from the evo its starts syncing right away

XDA Moderator19I have actually come across another way to fix the flickering, which sticks after a reboot.
I haven't done extensive testing on it but initial usage showed no flickering.
You will need: A build.prop editor. I prefer rom toolbox but use whatever you please.
