Thanks Miro - will give it another try (by the way, I wasn't trying to suggest it was the ROM, I was thinking it was something to do with USB drivers, but lacked the knowledgle)
no is ok. i mean it causes not on custom ROMs- 64 bit pc systems are a problem

Really grateful for the extra hints.
The hard part was figuring out how to overwrite the rapi.dll due to security permissions in Windows 7. I needed to change the ownership of the file from the file properties.
This link was really useful to work out what was preventing me renaming the old rapi.dll file and copying the new one in place -

Once that was in place - took less than 5 minutes to install MAGLDR again, and flash to the latest mi7ROM

Faced the the problem. But solved. Just go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers screen and let windows auto update and install the driver on its on. Once done you can flash the ROM. Cheers.
I try to update to the last firmware but "cab sender" give me an error "conflict between name of file"
I have 1.3b, and I had installed it nowwwwww
1.3b have big problem with cab sender. It's impossible update at the last firmware I try to reflash rom today but cab sender not work

Why you would reinstall? Yes it is possible if you go and flash stockrom !

Hi my friend :cyclops: the MAGDLR will be deleted only if you install a new omnia7 firmware, like 12.12. This firmware overwrite the bootlooader...

Today I've recieved an 8112 update via zune, so I don't know if I will get imedietaly a Tango update after that one!?
Exactly! But I didn't install any update, I have just recieved a notification when I connected my phone with laptop.
ahhh, ok. ....normally you can try it. but, maybe you will get a update error (if my mi7ROM 8107 has some update file conflicts....but backup your actual 8701 ROM before ...

- good INFO start cab sender with B (send cab with BACKUP) with R you can restore your mi7rom again! A backup of a ROM can ONLY restore on the same ROM- if you flash a other ROM- you have to flash the SAME ROM from backup to be able to restore it

mi7ROM have now the conable_miro certifificates + official + ceesheim=
now if I will add new stuff or updates all over cab sender as a .cab= no flash again, no apps + data loose more and the coming samsung and ms updates as cab (tango when come) ...normally able to update mi7rom over zune- but recommanded over cab sender ..
