@skvalex, could you please help with recording by using handsfree as well?
You need to have root or you may try to change CSC code to use system recorder method.

Try to change recording mode to monoYeah I tried that and it didn't work. Just keep getting a warning that it can't record.
CallRecorder breaks Google Voice. Whenever I'm on a GVoice call, CallRecorder kicks in and attempts to record the call, then the other party cannot hear me. If I stop the recording, my mic works again.
OG Pixel on Android 9. How do I fix this? Or stop it from attempting to record GVoice?
Has anyone figured out a config that works on Android Pie without root? After years of using the app, I'm tired of rooting phones and missing updates and would rather stay stock
Thanks in advance

Since you have Qualcomm based device, you can't root it or change CSC. The only way for you is to downgrade to Android 8.Has anyone figured out a config that works on Android Pie without root? After years of using the app, I'm tired of rooting phones and missing updates and would rather stay stock
You have Exynos based device and you can change CSC code using the following instruction (it works for S8 as well): https://xdaforums.com/galaxy-s9-plus/how-to/guide-how-to-change-s9-s9-csc-model-csc-t3870836Agree! I`ve read and asked several questions about this, there might be an option installing the OTA of Thailand, but I did not got any response yet.
Did that but still get the same message an error has occured this call cannot be recorded
Take screenshots of settings > recording and settings > recording > standard api
You should try root method only if standard api fails
It constantly uses accelerometer as reported by Betterbatterystats. Why accelerometer access is required? This will cause unnecessary battery drain.
Screenshots are attached.
1. For now, it's around 10 USD. May differ slightly depending on your region, currency and taxes.Hey,
What is the price of this app ?
Need root for Pixel 6A with stock ROM ?
It looks like it works as expected, see this https://skvalex.org/help/customize-filenames
I run a business which my existing/potential customers get in touch with me over the phone, so call recorder is a must to me. Since Android 9, I believe I have tried over more than 5 different brands and over 10 different phones, a few of them can record call on both ends with speaker mode but quality is bad. I end up with Google Pixel phones as they are the most easy one to root. What I am saying is that if you want good quality call records, rooting your phone is properly your only choice. Don't get your hope high looking for a phone which has good call recorder without root.
Please make a screenshot of Folders and Files settings. On pixel 7 rooted with magisk.
The files aren't being named the way it is set in the settings.
Is this a known issue?
It used to work fine.
Also - sometimes the app creates a new folder for every call and sometimes it doesn't. Is that a setting?
Looks to me like these two issues are related. When the app is creating a folder for each call, then it will name the folder with the pattern that is set in the settings, but not the actual audio file.

Hi Skvalex,
Let us know if you're still around and if you have any news about reinstating the app in the Google Play.
