WARNING:
Using this mod may decrease battery life, decrease screen life and/or quality, cause overheating, cause your phone to blow up or cause other damage to your phone. Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage this mod causes to your phone.

This Mod will increase the max brightness of your phone by about 10%.

Note:
Auto Brightness must be turned off for this to work.
Root is required for this Mod.

Instructions:
Download and run app attached to this post.

Or. ..

echo 1 > /sys/class/backlight/panel/auto_brightness

If you reboot or enable auto brightness you have to run it again.

The best way to tell if it worked would be to run it when your screen is already at full brightness. You'll see it go a bit brighter.

Tested on T-Mobile Note II, but this may work in many Samsung Galaxy phones.

im not understand how to install. i downloaded the file how do i apply it? cwm?

Yeah, just install the app and click on it. All it does is run the script.

If you reboot or enable auto brightness you have to run it again.

Works great, thanks! Now how can I load this at boot?

You'll have to check with the op because I could be wrong, but I'm assuming you should be able to use an app like script manager which lets you set a script to automatically run on every boot. You might need just the script itself though because this is an apk, so I'm not sure if it would be recognized as a script or not. Anyway then would at least survive after reboots anyway. :D

To apply this mod, you can either run the command in the OP or run the APK.

To apply this mod on boot, you can use any tool that runs scripts or APKs on boot. (I personally use Tasker to run the apk on boot.)

The reason I didn't make the APK run on boot was because ... uhm ... I don't know ...

Be careful that you do not burn images on your screen.

Can this be uninstalled at any time?

Yes you can un install at any time. But after a reboot or enabling auto brightness you will lose the increased brightness.
