PLEASE REPORT ALL BUGS

This is a beta version and is suitable for testers.
I ported this rom on request.
It is not for daily use.

WORKING WITH BOTH CURSORDROID'S AND AMON RA'S RECOVERY IMAGES

The ROM feels FAST.
It may be the fastest Eclair 2.1 for the 32A Magic 6.35 radio.
It is based off of SuperEclair v3.0 [BETA4.1] by KOLOHE and others (their rom really has nothing in common with Superatmel's SuperEclair anymore).
It uses Sanpei's .32 Kernel for 6.35 radio.
The rom has problems. You might get a force close.
A few problems remain with some features (see change log in second post and colour guide for what is working next).

Instructions:

You need new radio 6.35.10.18, SPL 1.76.2007 and recovery-RA-Magic32A-6.35-v1.6.2 or recovery-RA-hero-v1.6.2.img.
It might work on with other recovery images, but I have not tested them.
If you do not know how to change your radio, SPL and recovery, click here at Cursor's post.

1. Download the cooked ROM
2. Save the ROM to sd card
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Wipe Dalvik-cache
5. Wipe SD:ext partition
6. Flash ROM
7. Reboot

This rom should not be confused with the one here.

I created a new thread for this rom, because it is not based off the original SuperEclair2.1 like the other one. This rom is based off a completely different build.

Performance seems way better for me with this rom, but stability is still an issue.

I will post updates as the bugs get fixed.

I will also post a themed version at some point.

Everytime i enter my wifi WPA2 key and hit connect i get force close

sounds very good - I will test it out in time when I am back to new radio
I will also be testing Old Radio ports as well and likely posting them soon ^_^
just for the reason being is I prefer 295 MB of data heh

tks for ur great work! most things work good, but wifi connections always get a FC. that's a real real big problem.

Not that this will help you, nut I don't think the forced close is actually related to the wifi.

I get forced closes with one specific app on my phone. When I uninstall the app I then get the forced close when I do something else.

This was the main reason why I was waiting to port the rom.

I think the rom is awesome and fast - it may be one of the better if not best Eclair 2.1 roms that are not sense, hero or legend. I will port the new releases as soon as the original team gets this bug solved.

If you like, once you've ported it for 32A 3.22 radio, send me the download link and I will update this thread. We can use this thread for old and new radio versions.

yes i don't like any sense/hero/legend style too. ORIGINAL Eclair is the best! at least for me.

waiting anxiously for your next release.

I have the old radio port
This bug does not occur for me (weird)

I will post links for you in future as soon as I test some more

I will also make a thread possibly for my issues and updates too - as I prefer when cooking to upload any changes ASAP

I think video playback is broken in my version...

yes confirmed youtube works but video playback (mp4 movie) cannot work for some reason

any suggestion or just post?

I was thinking the same thing.
It's a good idea for this reason to have multiple threads.

My opinion is to just post the rom as it is.
There are a lot of people working on the 32B version.
They will hopefully figure out fixes faster than we can as a smaller group.

k uploading to multiupload - mine does not seem to have LWP built into it as part of the features either - maybe in future release this will be fixed but I think LWP just cause issues / crashes

yea rarely any FC on the version I use here

First off, great ROM. Very speedy compared to others I've tried. Just a couple of things I found that are not working are:

1. Wireless Tether - FC everytime I try to start it
2. Handcent SMS - FC everytime
