solution for root at 0.62 (downgrade)

Well, I was wondering and reviewing several posts and achieve get, here are the steps taken to have root q at 0.62 sk17i xperia mini pro:

1. make backup of everything (I use titanium)
2. FlashTool download and install http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1351309(I did with version 0.5.3.0)
3. download file. ftf of this post http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1477440and place it in the firmware of FlashTool
4. FlashTool and click open the flash / Flashmode / select the file and ok for ftf
5. connect the phone in Flashmode (mini pro with key low volume) and wait
6. once the flashing turn and proceed to the root by this method http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1320350
7. download the new firmware from the phone and update.

to restart the phone it will have updated and root

I am a rookie, and it is my first post and hope it helps many people

tested in pro mini xperia sk17i, attached link for file. ftf for the following models: Mini, Mini Pro, Active, LIVE walkman,Ray, Arc/S, Play, Neo/V

this right but also a tutorial in Spanish for my brother, thanks I also am of Peace, but the simplest is to take root in any model of SE and then updated and ready companion for pc not lose ROOT, I I did and it worked, since there is no root for 62 version

esta bien pero un tutorial en español tambien pues mi hermano, gracias yo tambien soy de la Paz , pero lo mas sencillo es tener root en cualquier modelo de S.E. y actulizar por pc companion y listo no pierdes el ROOT, yo yo hice y me funciono , ya que no hay root para la version 62

Hi!!! Un gusto,lo hice pq al salirme la actualización no lo pude rotear en la 0.62 estuve buscando como hacerlo y lo solucione de esta manera,y bueno no creo q pueda hacerlo en español,bueno en xda no

Or you can just use wotanserver to pick up an "US Generic .58" firmware, root it with flashtool, and OTA will be available.

mine doesnt want to turn on..

i explain: i have .62 originally, so i downgraded using flashtool to .42, then i root it using your link. Then I update back to .62 using the in-phone update (not the pc) but the phone doesnt restart. If i press the power button, i can see the green led light very weak and the phone doesnt do anything.

he seguido las instrucciones, originalmente tenía el .62 asi que le hice downgrade a la .42 usando flashtool. Luego le hice root siguiendo el enlace que has puesto.

Una vez vi el icono de super user, intenté actualizarlo de vuelta a la .62 pero el telefono luego de hacer el allante del upgrade, no quiere prender. Presiono el boton de power y solo se ve el bombillito verde que prende bien tenue pero no hace nada..

any advice? algun consejo?

Try removing the battery and wait about 5 minutes to turn it on, if not try to flash again with the FlashTool, try to have a secure network to download the update

I can upgrade to 0.62 "over the air" and it'll stay rooted?

only update you if you did not play any system file, as I did a mistake was produced by OTA update, so I had to root q and update flash -

Does the downgrade root method also works with the newest .69 Firmware?

not probe because in my country the .69 update does not come out yet, but should work, but in this case if you go back to the 42 and rooteas is have you on the upgrade to .69 for ota

for those who using FW.62 or .69 you have to downgrade to .58 FW 1st then root using this kit...after root u can upgrade ur firmware Over-The-Air(OTA) the root still remain there...

u may use the WotanServer.com to downgrade....while it still free^_^ try using Trade Germany firmware cuz it gave u update .69 i'm using it now...and i'm from Malaysia and live here its work perfectly on me....^_^

Where the flashmode key for Live with Walkman? And after the root , firmware update is can be done by pc companian or not?because this is my first android phone and first experience for me.

main reason is that OTA update data and applications are not deleted, but with the pcsuite erase everything to root!

hice lo sgte, wotan a .42, luego root.. despues x ota le di a .62.. Gracias Bro! funciona perfectamente
