AOSP ICX Beta 3 Now Released!

[ WARNING ]

1. THIS IS A BETA ROM
   
2. WE KNOW LOTS OF THINGS DONT WORK
   
3. MORE THINGS WILL FOLLOW AS AND WHEN DEVS CAN GET THEM TO WORK
   
4. DO NOT ASK FOR FURTHER UPDATES/ETA
   
5. ALL USER DATA (from /data partition) WILL BE WIPED WHILE INSTALLING THIS

[ features ]

1. Boots - ok
2. Touchscreen - ok
3. Phone/SMS - ok
4. Wifi - ok - if it doesn't work add manually a network
5. Bluetooth - ok
6. Orientation
7. GamePad + TouchPad (touchpad only works in some games)
8. Brightness
9. camera

[ NOT WORKING/KNOW ISSUES ]

Currently known issues are as following

1. Data (3G) (for some networks it works)(included in next release)
2. Video playback (included in next release)
3. touchpad not fully working
4. video recording
5. some games not working

When features are fixed or more bugs are found I will update this post.

[ requirements ]

• stock .62 firmware (use FTF) [WILL WORK ONLY WITH -64 BASEBAND]
• Unlocked Bootloader

[ how to install ]

1. download the ROMs update.zip and save it to SD-CARD
2. download my latest kernel from links provided below
3. flash my kernel using:
   
   Code:

   fastboot flash boot boot.img

   then reboot from fastboot using:
   
   Code:

   fastboot reboot

4. device will now start booting and show my kernel logo
5. when the blue LED lights up keep spamming/pressing BACK or VOLUME DOWN button
6. u will now enter ICX modded recovery
7. flash the ROMs update.zip (this will take some time a minute or two)
8. thats it now reboot device and it will start booting into ICS
9. first boot will take time!!!
10. enjoy!

- Data now fully working

- Updated sensor, adreno and RIL libs

- Streaming video fully fixed /Normal and HQ/ Gallery only low resoultion (still testing)

- Added data tweaks

- Rom is faster

- Updated SystemUI

- Sensors compiled from source

SuperUser fix (thanks to ubufugu for the tip for using the zip from this thread) (included in rom)
flash it via recovery


DATA + Gamepad fix (thanks to DeanBro for the fixed files) (included in rom)
flash it via recovery


TouchPad fix (thanks to DeanBro) (included in rom)
flash it via recovery


Brightness fix (thanks to DeanBro) (included in rom)
flash it via recovery

wifi fix (thanks to Homeworlder)
use it if you have problems with connecting to wpa/wpa2 wifi networks


Newest ICS Gapps (21-2-2012) (thanks to Nickholtus)
flash it via recovery

• sound working
• added stock ics launcher
• added CPU overclock
• added file manager

• Solved most random reboots
• some tweaks for speed
• use Arc 4.0.1 as base (before it was neo v build)
• some other things i forgot

[ Beta 1 ]

• Rom is AOSP!
• upgraded to Android 4.0.3
• No Sony ericsson stuff
• improved stability
• Wifi (because it is aosp data wont work atm.)
• MTP (connect phone to pc)

[ Beta 2 ]

• Rom is faster
• Orientation is fully working
• touchpads (for beta 1 use Deans Fix)
• Brightness (for beta 1 use Deans Fix)
• Superuser is fully working
• And some other fixes (thanks to FXP for cm9)

[ Beta 3 ]

• Data for some networks (use baseband -56)
• Camera (only main camera)
• browser FC's
• Touchpads

Brilliant! Can't wait till this gets up and running with alot more features. Make sure to include PSXperia support! Oh what kernel does this require?

I'd keep it to the basics. ICX would be cool and straight to the point. Maybe ICIX even, Ice Cream in Xperia.
