We are happy to announce a new Beta for Amazing Weather HD, available into too flavors one for China users and another one for the rest of the world.

- Changes:
- Fixed lock screen image generation.
- Added support for Simplified Chinese Language.
- Added support for Hungarian Language.
- Added support for China through a new XAP, we need testers to verify the app is running.
- Added analytics support (you can opt out through settings.)

Please hurry up Betas are limited.

Will there be lock screen support? The ability to have this as my background updating live coupled with your high resolution graphics would be killer.

BETA 2 is out... we adding the testers each 8-10 hours so please wait, and if we didn't respond by tomorrow please resend your email.

Also Arabic testers are needed for the new Arabic version.

- App is not full screen on the htc 8x
- Download size is a bit big for a weather app
- Is it still needed to kill the music to show a video in wp8?
otherwise the app is rock solid and has the same high quality as the wp7 version had.

Adding lockscreen support in the form of a few nice images reflecting the current weather conditions would be a great addition!

What's the version of the app you have, because it should appear full screen in BETA 4.0.0.

running version 4.0.1_WP8-BETA_2
HTC 8X

apart from the black bar across the top when in the app, this so far runs very smooth and quick.
When viewing the radar and select 'labels' is this meant to do something? as nothing appears to change on screen.

I'm running it on my 920. With metro design everything is very smooth and works fine. There seems to be a very slight stuttering once in a while with the cloud animations. The transitions between the cities also seem to have some lag but only with the realistic theme and not the metro themes.
General functions are all working properly and showing up correctly.
The app crashed once during opening process but I mailed the automatically generated report already.

Sent an email, but figure i'll post here to see if others have the same bug.

Enter app-->click on one of the days at the bottom-->Then start tapping on the screen in various location in the day view. All the info disappears and you're left with a blank screen with the weather animation running. I can swipe the screen left and right and the weather animation changes as if it were switching days.

Thanks, but this is not a bug, its a feature to enjoy the animations it will work by double tapping on the screen to have the animations full screen with full brightness.

;)

We are going to release the app update next Friday, and an almost final BETA is updated to version 4.0.2 BETA#3, a fix for the charts misleading color will be implemented in the final release, thanks all for your feedback and we are waiting for the ones who didn't.

- Things we need to know:
App performance, Animations Performance, Animation quality, Live tile Quality, Live tile updates, Weather information accuracy and availability.


- And we are working on a Lock screen integration also that will be available in v 4.1, BETA will be available soon for those who already testing with us :)

Please all don't forget to support AmazingWeather by reviewing it in Marketplace for the app not the BETA., you can review the Trial version of the app when it's out if you are not willing to buy the app :)

BETA #4 v 4.0.3 (final) will be out soon with:

- Small Live tiles with temperature.
- Five day forecast on Live Tile.
- Full Arabic support.
- Fixed Charts with the same color.
- Better Support 720P devices (HTC 8X should have full video)
- Bug fixes.


On Sunday we will submit the App :)...

And we will start working on Lock Screen features, thanks all for you feedback and support and as always don't forget to Review the full app when its out, as it will support 3days trial.

One last thing is the splash screen resolution good on WP8 ??

    Dear All,

    We are happy to announce the that a new update (4.1.0) has been submitted for certification to add the following:

    - LockScreen support with weather based on conditions and from BING (more sources to be added like custom image and others), with seven styles to choose from.
    - Mix and match live tiles as you like.
    - Enhanced small live tile with city name.
    - Added feels like temperature to the app.
    - Enhanced the quality of the live tiles images to be full HD.

    And as always we are going to add another update as we finally got our Lumia 920 and we will focus on increasing the quality of the animations and graphics.
