[HOW TO] Google Camera in Oreo

Hey guys,

here is a quick how to get Google Camera working in Oreo:

1. Install Magisk following this howto
2. Install modules camera2api-enabler.zip and magisk-permissive-script_v1.1.zip
3. Install your choice of Google Camera. I just tried out GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.2 with these settings
4. reboot

Note: I don't know if this is the best Google Camera version for Oreo out there. If you have other suggestions, please let me know.

U miss v1.3 with Potrait support:laugh:

Can u share the settings? Mine is not good at low light.. Gcam settings. I am using v1.3 without HDR+ front Potrait. Will download that one soon

Setting : All my setting is 6P
HDR setting : Medium

Can ....... I use this in N ? I still not updated to O bcz dere is no xposed available till now !!!

Does the 1.3.3 version crash when you have auto HDR+ enabled (not enhanced) and it detects that it doesn't need HDR and takes a normal photo - these photos are mostly green. I'm on 1.3

I had the same problem when I installed Oreo through the ota script. I reverted back to nougat and then did the oreo update through the phone.

Also, make sure you have the permissive script installed
