Thanks.

I think Adobe flash and adobe air arent working properly for my Cube u9gt2 clone. firefox and dolphin sometimes just plays html5 and when its playing flash, it shows green screen in the video screen. Also, adobe air does the same when i use an app called Desktube in google play. its an alternate youtube app for android tablet that uses adobe air to play videos. useful when your wifi signal is low as on this app even 480p is pretty clear, so faster buffering, and fine quality. however, in this rom, it displays videos as green screen, where it used to work in stock roms.

could you confirm please? thanks you!

Unfortunately I have no Cube U9GT 2 on hand. On Loox it works.

could you try embedded youtube player? i always go to Mobiletechreview.com to test flash and html5 on browsers. please try it and tell us..you can click on any review on the website and there will be a video at the bottom. see if that shows as green after it starts playing.

thamks a lot!

Sorry.. :) but that's not adobe flash. That's html5 playing in the picture you attached. Flash should have the exact same player UI as computers, but that's optimized for mobile, similar to iPad. I can't seem to play flash on stock browser as well, and it plays html5 for me too. BUT if I use Dolphin browser (phone version, formerly dolphin browser HD), or firefox, the flash video shows up as green box (this is the Actual flash). Same as the Desktube app that uses adobe Air.

Sorry for making you keep trying new ones, but I hope you do! You'll most likely have the same result (My guess!).

Thanks.

Oh yeah, and one more thing. I kept having this problem since previous versions, but if I wake my tablet up from sleep, it reconnects to Wifi (even though I set it to keep connected always), but sometimes it fails to reconnect, and if I go to the wifi setting to check, it says Authentication problem. I have never had this problem with stock firmwares but i keep having this very often recently with cm9. I don't know if it's because of my wifi range repeater that I'm using that's not very compatible with this rom..

Do you also have this problem?

Thanks!

Hm..the I can't see the controls in the pictures you attached for firefox. It seemed like html5 too. But not sure.

And yes, flash is dead, and I would love to use html5, BUT all stock, dolphin, puffin, and many other browsers suffer from smooth scrolling while html5 video is playing. It should be smooth if our tablet was fully optimized with ICS and runs completely smooth, but it's not (definitely MUCH better than stock firmwares, at least for Cube). So while playing html5 video on these browsers, scrolling pages is REALLY bad..

Firefox seems better at scrolling BUT firefox doesn't play html5 videos smoothly (the video itself). It's choppy. Firefox has been like this FOREVER, and they never fix this html5 video issue. I even gave them a feedback, and they said they are trying to fix or something, but still not fixed I think, after many, MANY updates.

Does the rotation work on the cube?

Need to be solved on kernel side. On ICS side I can only provide a generic fix for your sensor which is the MMA7660.

Pls give it a try. The fix is in post #2. It will work more or less, maybe you have to turn the tab also on z-achsis.

Interesting. I can boot the ptab7200 off this kernel but it keeps getting stuck in recovery???????

I wonder how close these tabs are hardware wise?

PTAB7200 boots to CWM 5.5.0.4 beta 15.
Install NAND fix from post (can't install fix, hardware keys in recovery aren't working)

Edit, trying different recovery, had to reflash factory firmware to get device to respond then back to Odys Loox rom.
Will update thread shortly with results.

Figured out that the Kernel lacks hardware keys. If I use the stock gingerbread kernel i can get onscreen keys but im doubting that will work.

I know this isn't the ptab thread, but man i'd love to see this rom run on it.
