Notification widgets are part of widgetsoid and not theme

Special thanks to Vertumus for allowing me to use his battery % icons in my theme.
His Samsung theme can be found here: Gingerbread SPECIAL EDITION

What it does is make the theme as close to stock as possible.
(All the HDPI icons are a straight rip from the Nexus 1's rom and the MDPI icons are from the Android 2.3 emulator image)

The theme is made of up 4 parts:

- Main Gingerbread theme
- Theme with optional battery % icons (HDPI only)
Stock app icons
Clock with AM/PM Removed and white clock mod
Stock Android fonts [Only required for Streakmod]

Install Instructions:

Flash framework or framework+batt for main theme
Optional: flash icons for stock GB icons
Optional: flash clock to remove AM/PM indicator
Optional: flash fonts for stock fonts

Notes:

First boot after flashing may take several minutes, any reboots afterwards will be much quicker
Battery % icons only work in HDPI mode (DPI of 200 or greater). They will NOT work on the default dpi of 160.

Thanks for the zip file. I saw that your gingerbread launcher can rotate to potrait but not for StreakDroid 1.9.1. Can you attach for me your gingerbrad launcher?

It's not the launcher itself, you have to enable the 'portrait' setting in install.txt when installing streakdroid.

That launcher is just the one 191 comes bundled with

Ooh ... I see , so if I install SD 1.9.1 with potrait then I will get potrait (locked) for ginger bread launcher. But I think , I will get all launcher that I install locked to potrait too. Isn't it ?

Added clock mod, now the AM/PM indicators are removed for 12 hour mode.

Dont use clock mod if you use 24 hour mode, though you dont need it to begin with.

Updated main theme with assets from the android 2.3.3 emulator image. Now it's about as stock as possible until I can figure out the proper way of removing the AM/PM from clock.

Consider the theme complete now bar reported bugs.

Updated main theme: it's now slightly slimmer and has all the locales 351 does.

Includes turkish and nearly a dozen other languages over stock 1.9.1

It's so similar to 351's theme internally that it's likely to be compatable with all recent roms, see here.

If anyone is on 351, 354 or simplestreak feel free to try my rom on it. You should always nandroid beforehand when installing any theme. As I have not tested it on anything but SD191 this makes backing up even more important.

THIS ONLY APPLYS TO THE MAIN THEME. DON'T INSTALL THE CLOCK ORICON MODS
ON ANYTHING BUT STREAKDROID 1.9.1. THEY WILL NOT WORK.

Edit: the stock icon mods have been tested and should work fine on all 350+ rom
Edit2: every mod should be compatable with any 350+ rom

Could you make a theme wthout the carrier name in status bar

Hi,
is it too much work for you if can relaese a framework without the carrier name in the status bar?

I tried to edit the framework with apktool but i have problems with rebuilding it since sd 1.9.... (on 1.8.1 i made my own framework without carriername)

would be fine

Tested theme on 351, main theme works fine except for the clock being black.

Someone will need to make a white clock mod for 351 for it to work fully.

Only the main theme itself has been tested, clock and icons are SD191 specific. Fonts are not needed as they're the same fonts.

Hey there!

I´m very sorry for being noobish now, but this looks so promising, that I have to be!

In fact, I can´t find any real beginner tutorial for designing the notification bar etc., so I´m not really into handling with framework.res files and in this case, I don´t understand the hints in the first post

I´m using a DELL STREAK with Stock Rom (think so?): Android 2.2.2, Baseband GAUSB1A13500-EU, Kernel 2.6.32.9-perf, Build Number 15609...flashing wasn´t new for me (being a former HD2 user), but here I havn´t installed anything yet (clockwork or sth similar), my phone is just rooted!

Am I able to use this theme without any danger? Has anybody here the time and the "good will" to tell me the steps to achieve the aim (having this very nice theme)?

The theme will work on 351 if you install it with a custom recovery, only that the clock wont show as it will be black text on black. Someone needs to make a white clock mod for 351 first (i think there might be one but i cant recall offhand)

Updated clock mod to work on all dpis and is compatable with the 24 hour clock, now it should more or less be identical to the stock GB clock.

No more hacky statusbar sliding!
