Re: [Kernel][Jan 31] Perseus
I ran into something similar with the cables, unofficial cables would sync on my pc or charge right away, official cable would start up and get going right away. Could be a chip in the cable or something, just like the way crapple made there new cables

So I have the stock 2A charger, a slew of other chargers ranging from 500mA to 2A, and a thing called CurrentWidget on my Note II...

I wish I had be running CurrentWidget before I flashed this kernel, because running it now with Perseus I'm only getting 1A out of my stock charger. I'm pretty sure that the widget isn't reading things correctly, but charging still feels slow. I haven't been able to hit 100% battery charge since getting the Note II a few days ago.
Anyhow, my question I suppose is, the 900mA charging rate limit, does that mean that the Note II doesn't actually take the full 2A from the charger on a stock kernel? Kinda having a hard time wrapping my brain around all this.
Edit: Interesting, when my device is attached to the stock charger with the white Note II USB cable, it seems to charge up faster.
