*Updated ADB and Fastboot to latest version 1.0.3.6 release candidates

Hey thanks for the update, but both Chrome and Windows Defender are triggering a virus alert instantly on download.

Chrome gets me: minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4.1_setup.exe Failed - Virus detected

Windows Defender: Trojan: Win32/Spursint.A!cl

Not sure if its your installer or androidfilehost but figured I'd let ya know!

Thanks for letting me know this is nothing to worry about it's only because I'm not some big developer with a known security certificate and haven't gotten it white listed. But as always MAF is not a Virus so you don't have to worry

- Add for any current a future version a commands list text file for adb/fastboot commands like the files in the zip attached.

These are definitely good suggestions and will be included in the next version

my PC ( windows 10) does not see my Le Pro 3 phone, where do i get the driver for it? i have tried few adb driver downloaded, but no of them works. see the attached err, where to proceed next? i cannot see the trouble shooting page from here?

Have you tried this? https://www.orduh.com/lg-g-pro-3-usb-drivers/
Specifically the removal of older drivers, especially if they are for other LG devices. That often helps.....
And make sure the cable you are using is original LG, not some cheap charge-only cable. Windows should see and install the driver for that phone, even without disabling driver verification.... Something else about your setup ain't right.... Try a different port, the computer of a friend with Win 10 or 7....

Minimal ADB and Fastboot Tool [10-22-16] portable version 1.4.1, functions flawlessly with my nexus devices. No issues with 'AFH' download as well as setup on my 'Windows-10' desktop. I'm having the same problem with it being tagged a virus. How can I get around this and get it downloaded and installed on my PC? Thanks

I had no problem with it being detected as a treat by windows defender, at least until I tried using MAF on a fried's computer. You will take less time getting adb and fastboot set up from other source than to explain you know this thread and know it can be trusted, so if the zips can get modified so to not be detected as a virus, it would be golden XD

If you are having problems with your AV either white-list the application installer, or temporarily disable your AV for a few moments to install MAF. You can also try the portable version .zip which your AV shouldn't flag. I am also looking at code signing certificates to avoid it getting flagged however most commercial ones I have found are extremely expensive (As in Microsoft Authenticode is about $1,000 for 2 year certificate) but I will keep looking

I have Samsung galaxy s 7 edge no root, but I really want to use your app, to turn on and off GPS with the Google maps in Tasker +AutoTools plugin.
My question is there a possibility to tick the Samsung Knox if I'll will use the minimal ADB & fastboot tool to activate secure settings in AutoTools Tasker plugin.
Also I use Samsung Pay too,
So, could you tell me what options I have?

This isn't the place to ask this question.

You'll need root to access the secure settings, check out your device forum for details how to root it, yeh it'll trip Knox and you won't be able to use Samsung pay.

The 1.0.3.6 version in the OP does not work properly with the Google Pixel variant phones with their dual-partition (a vs b) setup.

I'm in the process of studying for final exams and writing final papers but when I'm done with those in the next week or so (Or sooner if I get the time) I'll update it

Hmm, I just ran "adb version" on my working install and it's 1.0.3.6 also.
Maybe it was something in the Android SDK 25 update I took last night that fixes Pixel phone compatibility.
Or maybe my previous ADB/fastboot install was messed up.

I just did a "fastboot boot boot.img" and phone booted right up within like 40 seconds.
No root though of course (wasn't expecting it).
But I'm just saying this so folks don't feel the need to flash-all.bat.
It put me back on Google kernel (not elemental).
