I understand that the file has been updated. Since the version or date has not been changed, the information is still valid. If the update refers to a new version or is of a later date then this should also be adjusted. Otherwise, there are only irritations. :confused:

Bruh you dumb? It's not a new build. I never said a new build is on its way The build.prop has been edited that's all i didn't miss out on anything So Valid information my a$$

Okay I'll presume cam works. Also none of you have provided logs. And the testers group verified it works.... unless it's proved otherwise I'll assume it works....

just to be accurate the camera works for both the original and the updated version of the 5.8.5 ROM however the videocamera is not working (after two seconds stops the video recording) using the stock app.In order to resolve the problem you need a third party app (f.e cameringo)

Camera (Recording) doesn't work

When I start recording the message appears
"Slow motion mode is not supported for the selected video size. Select a lower video size."
Video size is HD 1080p. With SD 480p the recording stops after 1 second.
I have created a logcat (my first). I hope it helps to find the mistake.

    I'm sorry guys I've reconfirm video recording is not working..please stick to using footej for that. I'm really sorry for the false announcement of cam working fine(someone from the testers group told me so please don't blame me)....

    First impressions

    Installation on Galaxy Grand 2 with TWRP 3.2.1-0:
    Wipe Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Cache
    Install "RR-N-v5.8.5-20180523-ms013g-Unofficial.zip"
    Install "open_gapps-arm-7.1-pico-20180524.zip"
    Install "Gps fix.zip" (otherwise GPS will not work)

    Reboot system:
    SIM 1 and SIM 2 are detected
    Auto rotation works
    Camera: Photo works, video works not (use 3rd party camera app like Cameringo Lite, it's not a problem of this ROM)
    Wi-Fi works
    Hotspot works
    Bluetooth works
    Headphone jack works
    3G on SIM 2 works
    GPS works
    OTA -> Check Update -> notification "Can't check update" (seems not to work)
