I am running on custom rom on s5 plus and my sd card containg my nandroid backup is corrupted.
I need an app named "valvet".
It is a system app of karbonn titanium s5 plus's stock rom.
Anybody running on stock rom please copy this app from /system/app
and mail me on kashyapawan@gmail.com
If you are not running stock rom but having nandroid backup through clockworkmod recovery extract system.ext4.tar file of your nandroid backup.

This backup can easily extracted from 7zipper.

there is no kitkat running rom for karbonn titanium s5 plus
only kitkat and lollipop themed roms are available.

5Everybody, I'm thinking of assigning a codename to this device. Since the release, a codename has not been created for it. I would recommend the codename 'LIFIAN' for this device. LIFIAN is an old english word for life. And since some way or the other, kernel sources and a new update, which I have been working on, will come to this device, it will regain life. So, anybody who ports/builds/compiles ROMs for this device, please set the device codename to lifian. That will help to identify this device, just like all the other high-end devices.
Another thing is, I just started a website !
It's called Mediatek ROMs, and will contain ROMs, Recoveries, Guides, Tutorials, etc. about Mediatek, Android and everything in between.
And it has Material design !

Development for this phone has been eating into all my time, and my grades have drastically decreased. My hands pain from jabbing on the keyboard everyday, and I've been getting headaches lately. The only support I get is from you guys, and I don't think that will help in my situation.
Let's face it, here's the truth.
I'm starting 10th standard now, and as you all must know, this is a very important year for me. I just can't neglect my studies for the sake of this device. I can help, but not everyday, maybe twice or thrice in a month, max. However, to develop for this device, that is a Herculean task.
So, let's say I can come back to development by next year.
By then, this device will have become a legacy device. Android M is going to be released at Google I/O 2015, and our device will be left way behind. Come on, 4.2.2->4.3->4.3.1->4.3.2->4.4.1->4.4.2->4.4.3->4.4.4->5.0->5.0.1->5.0.2->5.0.3->5.1->5.1.1->(Android M)??? Seriously?
Frankly, the Android One devices offer much better value than this, at almost same hardware specs. Simply put, this phone is not worthy enough of the 11290 Rupees Karbonn asked for. No device updates, no kernel sources, no support(official or unofficial), no proper development options, nothing. I tried my best, but it wasn't worth it.
I thought for a whole week, 11 hours and 10 minutes before posting this, and I regret saying this, but I'll have to put a restriction to development for the device. I had a choice, it's not like I was forced to do this, but the available options in the choice were either to focus on studies or focus on this. Damn difficult choice for a 15 yr old teenager like me to handle.
Most of everything I did so far is on the internet, and you can access it anytime. Some data just got deleted in a Hard Drive failure, so there's nothing we can do about that. But, all of that was based on what's available on the internet, so, yeah. You have access to pretty much everything I work with.
Well, I can't live up to everybody's expectations, can I? I'll try to do whatever I can, as long as it doesn't affect my studies as such. Maybe a bit of help every two weeks, some guides or point-me-in-the-right-direction kinda things, or something. But not in the frequency at which I'm doing things now.
And no, I'm not closing this thread or anything, you guys can interact, help each other, post questions, find answers, all that stuff. It's like I'm overclocking my brain, and it's overheated, so I'll have to cool down for a while(decrease development), recharge my batteries(focus on studies), fix my permissions(listen to my parents), install some new apps(learn and study), install a recovery (studies will be something I can fall back on) and then be back.
BTW, sorry.
