Uhm then I'm not sure about hte bootloop, some people here (that know alot more than me) said that few users get bootloops with the 3.30 and 3.24 fw , when I asked about it (maybe in this post you can look up) they said you should try 3.12 and it should work

As an added thing to the above, I have a couple more questions.
1) Are you able to get back into the bootloader?
2) What does your HBOOT line say from the bootloader?
On the question about going back to start, or stock. You can do it, but it requires some work. To completely return to stock you can follow the steps in either of these posts, Guide to Installing S-off ... or How to Debrand ..., they both have good information on going back to stock.
If you just want to go back to before you flashed but after you installed Clockwork Recovery then you can restore from the NAND backup if you made one before flashing.
- Did you followed the steps 1 to 3 in the guide to s-off your phone, root and install cwm recovery?
- Is you phone superCID'ed? if is not. I'd recommend you to do the superCID, format your sd card and follow the guide step by step again. Please download the 3.30 firmware and double check everything you've done
- did you install 4ext recovery touch?
- re download the ROM file and try again checking the md5

This is wrong information. 3.12 firmware will only works with 3.12 based ROM's and gingengbread ROM's in some cases. Also 3.12 has locked bootloader which limit the ability to flash a new radio.
If you don't want to have bootloops or further problems with the installation of the rom you MUST follow everything written here step by step.
I'll agree with this, I'm not a complete novice at flashing but I've even had bootloops before...... Found out it was ultimately that I was flashing mods for an incorrect version of the ROM I was using. I just overlooked it, probably because I had gotten impatient.
When finally deciding to take the plunge and move from ARHD 3.6.13 to 6.3.0 I made sure to follow this guide exactly and I haven't had any problems with either mine or my wife's device, thankfully....
And while following the guide I found out I actually DIDN'T have SuperCID even though I could have sworn I had gone through those steps to SuperCID it previously.... so it kept me from pulling the wrong firmware and the process becoming alot more problematic.

also for those having bootloop issues..i flashed the firmware then had bootloop so i restored my nandroid and then flashed rom.

The newest firmware is not backwards compatible. I'ts intended to work with ROMs based on 3.30 RUU. If you are flashing a ROM with different base (not 3.30) you will get bootloops.
Also, nandroid backups DO NOT backup the phone firmware. You need to revert the previous firmware manually
No, newer firmware's are not normally backwards compatible. At least not between versions. I can't say as to the ability to use the 3.30 firmware with a 3.24 specific ROM but I know the ICS firmwares will not allow the use of GB ROMs.
This is how i got out of the boot loop:
1. flash firmware 3.12 the exact same way you flashed firmware for ARHD 6.3. firmware can be found here in the 2nd post
2. when screen turns black or tells you to reboot, take battery out, IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU TAKE BATTERY OUT BEFORE IT REBOOTS
3. take out sdcard and remove PG58IMG.zip by powering down phone, removing sdcard, booting into hboot, then select recovery. IMMEDIATLEY put sdcard back in, and let recovery boot up.
4. connect phone to computer via usb, select toggle usb, select view folder when device pops up on computer (assuming you have windows), find and delete file PG58IMG.zip, then tap disconnect.
5. reboot into bootloader and it should say **LOCKED** instead of **REVOLUTIONARY** but don't you freaking worry about that because your phone will still work perfectly.
6. boot into recovery and swipe cache+dalvik or if you have it on you sdcard, flash "Android_Revolution_HD_Super_Wipe_Sensation.zip"
7. now flash ARHD 4.1.13 or if your restore point was a ROM that supported firmware 3.12 then flash that but I got out of my boot loop by flashing ARHD 4.1.13. you can find it here
8. after flashing is done, navigate back to recovery's first menu and select reboot. your phone will boot up perfectly and now you can finish that sexting session you were having with the town bimbo.
X. if you somehow managed to not put in the sdcard fast enough in step 3 because of whatever freaking reason, don't panic, just put sdcard in, wipe cache+dalvik and reboot recovery.
this got me out of that very scary boot loop and i'm pretty sure it'll work for you to given you did EXACTLY as i said.
now you can retry flashing ARHD 6.3 again GOOD LUCK

So I finally took a plunge and decided to root my phone and try a taste of ICS before the official upgrade comes out in a month or so...
I used to flash custom firmware on the phones back in the day when Sony Ericcson was the coolest phone on the market and touch screen was in the experimental mode, but I figured android can't be much more complicated on my T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G.
Thanks to everyone for these awesome guides, it made everything a lot easier. Anyways, I've successfully got my phone to S-OFF, rooted, super CID'd, overclocked with SebastianFM 1.5 GHz kernel, and flashed Android Revolution ARHD 6.3.0 with Beats music. After I was done with that I flashed super smooth rosie, ICS percentage battery mod, extended quick settings and WiFi calling patch for TMOUS. Works great so far!
Decided to finally create an account to thank the people who wrote the guides and developed the ROMs, but it doesn't let me post in the development forums until I get 10 posts in, go figure... Anyways, thank to everyone. I'll be visiting this place more often.

I'll be visiting this place more often. trying to get arhd 6.3.xxx on i flashed many roms and firm but i keep geting boot loops htc screen over and over driving me nuts i removed hboot in firm but didnt help i want 3.0 or virtuous 4.0 hmmm it seems to work in my daily COREDROID 3.30 with hboot removed phone dont like 1.27 hboot NOW WHAT ??????????????????

MAN, if I had known this when I updated to 3.24! I got the loop all the way up until I flashed an ICS ROM. Nice to know the reason behind it now. I will not be getting this firmware until I see a ROM I want for this. Its unfortunate because the ROM I'm in love with now is for 3.24 and it does not have beats! O well.

- S-ON and hboot ≤ 1.18: Your bootloader can be unlocked via revolutionary tool. Please achieve S-OFF following [Guide] to Installing S-off, Unlocking, ClockWork, Root, SuperCID & S-on, Step1 (thanks to xl VipeR lx). Once your phone is succesfully S-OFF'ed please continue with post#1 and post#2 in this thread.
If you experience zerg root error while switching S-OFF using revolutionary please follow this guide to use tacoroot tool.
- S-ON and Hboot 1.27: You can either attempt to do S-OFF or flash a custom 3.32-based ROM while being S-ON.
- To S-OFF please use [S-OFF] Juopunutbear S-OFF method (thanks to globatron). I recommend to read and follow this detailed guide (thanks to auggie2k). Once your phone is succesfully S-OFF'ed please continue with post#2 in this thread.

How to flash the ICS 3.33 firmware
Readme first
- There is no need to flash the radio. It is already included in the firmware package. (radio included: 11.76A.3504.00P_11.24A.3504.31_M)
- Check MD5 Checksum of every file before flashing it. MD5 Checker tool: Download the file, unzip it and follow the instructions
- CAUTION: This procedure can brick your phone. Please make sure you've read, understood everything and know how to do it before you continue.
- Please make sure your battery is fully charged before start flashing.
- As a precautionary measure, remove the sim card from the phone and keep it out during the whole process.
Step 1. Flashing 4EXT recovery touch
During the installation of ARHD ROM you will be asked if you want to add/flash certain features ( i.e: stock or custom kernel, TMOUS 4g support, sony bravia engine, among other things). To make those choices you need to flash 4ext recovery touch before the ROM, if you decide to flash the ROM with CMW recovery this options will not appear. 4ext recovery touch is included in ARHD by default, any other recovery will be overwriten after the installation.
If you've decided not to flash ARHD and/or the ROM you've chosen do not require you to have 4EXT recovery touch installed, you can skip this section.
To dowload and install the newest version of 4ext recovery TOUCH (v1.0.0.5 RC5). (thanks to madmaxx82) use one of the following methods provided:
- First method: Your phone MUST be rooted in order to install the 4ext recovery touch. Follow the Installation guide (thanks to LarsChristian).
- Second method: This method is only for windows users. Download the user-friendly 4EXT Recovery touch flashing tool. Check the MD5 of the zip, extract the downloaded file and read the guide inside.
Is highly recommended to install the 4EXT Recovery Updater or 4EXT Recovery Control to keep up with the latest updates and news. Go to 4EXT thread or www.4ext.net. - Third method: Download this file, check the MD5 of the zip and install it following the steps 4 and 5 from post#1 in this thread.
If you get the "CID error" you'll need to know what your CID is and manually add it to the android-info.txt file contained in the .zip, or you can do SuperCID following Step4 in this guide and repeat the process afterwards.
NOTE: File used in third method WILL NOT install the needed 3.33 firmware in any way, only contains the recovery.img to flash 4ext recovery touch.
Step 2. Backup your current ROM/Apps/Data
- Make a NANDROID backup of your current ROM.
- Go to settings>power and untick fast boot
- Power off phone
- Hold volume-down + power button to boot into the bootloader
- Select recovery
- Wait for 4EXT recovery touch to boot
- Go to: backup|restore>Backup>Yes
- Wait until backup is finished
- Reboot phone
- Make a backup of your apps (with titanium backup or you preferred app). This is optional
- Make a backup of your SMS, contacts and important data. After superwiping and flashing the ROM all of them will be gone.This is optional
You can use either the HTC sense buit-in backup option or one of this free apps:- SMS Backup & Restore (Thanks to HPDoubleDutch for the suggestion).
- SMS Backup + (Thanks to Hawke84 for the suggestion).
Step 3. Downloading the firmware package
Download the latest 3.33 universal firmware package (PG58IMG.zip) from here.
Step 4. Updating the firmware
This step is MANDATORY otherwise you ROM will not boot. Please take a look at the firmware thread so you can understand what you are about to do.
After updating the firmware you will have the 3.33 firmware with unlocked bootloader (revolutionary hboot 1.27). Which basically means that you can use advanced fastboot commands, such as: flash new radios and splashscreens
- Copy the PG58IMG.zip file you've downloaded to the root of the sdcard. Root of the sd card mean that you can't put the file inside any folder. Also, you can't rename the file. Please keep the PG58IMG otherwise the bootloader won't recognize it.
- Power off your phone or remove the batt and put it back again.
- Hold volume-down + power button to boot into the bootloader
- Wait for the firmware package to be found and confirm to update as prompted
- Once it completed successfully and prompted you to reboot, pull the battery out.
Step 5. Removing the PG58IMG.zip file from the sd card
Now that you have updated the firmware succesfully, it is necessary to delete the PG58IMG.zip file from the sd card to gain access to the bootloader without being asked if you want to update the firmware. To do so, we have two options:
Option#1. If you can have access to the sd card from a computer:
- Remove the sdcard from your phone,attach it to your computer and delete the PG58IMG.zip from the sdcard.
- Remove the sdcard from your computer and return it to your phone.
- Hold volume-down + power to boot into bootloader.
- Wait 10 seconds until the bootloader is fully loaded
- Now your bootloader screen should read:
-Revolutionary-
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.1100
RADIO-11.24A.3504.31_M - Navigate with the volume button and select recovery with the power button
- Wait for the recovery to boot
- You are good to go, now you can flash the ROM. Please follow post#2 in this thread.
- Remove the sd card from the phone
- Hold volume-down + power to boot into bootloader.
- Wait 10 seconds until the bootloader is fully loaded
- Now your bootloader screen should read:
-Revolutionary-
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.1100
RADIO-11.24A.3504.31_M - Insert the sd card now
- Navigate with the volume button and select recovery with the power button
- Wait for the recovery to boot
- You are good to go, now you can flash the ROM. Please follow post#2 in this thread.
- Delete the PM58IMG.zip file from your sd card using your preferred file manager as soon as your phone has booted succesfully. You won't be able to boot into recovery normally until you delete this file. As a workaround use this method to enter into recovery mode.

The content in this guide will help you to flash/update the latest version of Android Revolution HD (ARHD) Ice Cream Sandwich ROM.
- Android Revolution HD is a custom ROM based on latest official HTC 3.33.401.x update. It is mandatory to have (at least) the 3.32 firmware (3.33 recommended) flashed on your phone or else it will not boot.
- Please check your current ROM base number under: Settings>About Phone>Software Information>More>Build Number. - Download the Sensation superwipe script (is the same for Sensation /XE/4G users) from the ARHD OP(Thanks to mike1986.). WARNING: Use only the superwipe script for the HTC Sensation. Using a different one can brick your phone.
- Download the ROM from the ARHD OP (Thanks to mike1986.). You can flash either non-xe (without beats audio) or xe (with beats audio) version. Yes, the only difference is beats audio.
- 6.6.x XE = With beats audio
- 6.6.x = Without beats audio
- 1.2.x = Recommended for TMOUS users. Based on the latest official HTC 3.32.531.14 (U.S. T-Mobile) firmware. Without beats audio
- Copy the super wipe and ROM zip files to the sdcard
Step 4. Flashing/updating the ROM
Note to ARHD updaters!
- If you are coming from ARHD 6.7.x version there is no need to superwipe. Flashing the ROM without superwipe will not modify or delete your data/settings/apps/desktop layout. However, the mods you've installed will be gone and you will need to flash them again. I'd recommend to check if the mods are available/compatible with the updated ROM you are flashing to avoid future issues.
- If you are coming from a previous 3.32-based ARHD ROM (>6.4.0) superwipe is
requiredhighly recommended!. There have been some changes and updates in the ROM since then and the best advice is to do a clean install. Please consider a superwipe to avoid issues and get the better ARHD experience. - If you are moving from/to the XE ROM version, superwipe isn't required but recommended. If you decide not to superwipe and you are having issues or strange behaviour please consider a superwipe to avoid issues and get the better ARHD experience.
- Power off phone
- Hold volume-down + power button to boot into the bootloader
- Select recovery
- Wait for 4EXT recovery touch to boot
- Select install from sd card
- Install the superwipe script. This will wipe ALL your data and reboot the phone into recovery again when completed.
- Select install from sd card again
- This time flash the ROM and follow the on-screen instructions
- During the installation you will be asked the following questions:
- Is your device HTC Sensation 4G?. This will add wifi calling option. ONLY FOR TMOUS USERS
- Adding sony bravia engine support?. Check out this video. Most of users haven't noticed any difference with or without the bravia engine patch. So you make your choice.
- Flashing boot.img.
Step 1: Select between stock kernel and custom kernel. If you have a Sensation XE and you install stock kernel your phone will run @1.5GHz because that's the stock cpu speed. If you don't have a Sensation XE your phone will run @1.2GHz.
Step 2: Select between SebastianFM kernel and faux123 kernel. If you want to have an idea of the difference between both go to this useful post. (Thanks to PaulGiz)
- When the ROM is fully flashed select back
- Select reboot from 4ext recovery
- Done, enjoy ICS , the first boot should take around 5-10 mins
Step 5. After flashing
- Before restoring or installing any app go to settings>Security>Tick unknow sources. This will allow the installation of non-Market apps.
- If you are going to restore any of your apps make sure you don't restore system apps or data. Just restore user apps and their data. Please read this post for a short explanation of why you shouldn't backup/restore system data.
- Restore your SMS backup. You must've done a backup before flashing the ROM.
You can use either the HTC sense built-in tool or one of this free apps:- SMS Backup & Restore (Thanks to HPDoubleDutch for the suggestion).
- SMS Backup + (Thanks to Hawke84 for the suggestion).
- There is no need to flash the recommended radio, remember? you already have it.

Do you want to go back to Gingerbread?
If you want to flash a stock ROM and/or you are changing back to S-ON using a RUU and it comes up with an error please follow the second method posted here. You can also reboot your phone manually into bootloader and then run the RUU.
To change back to S-ON please follow the STEP 5 in this guide

- Go HERE And download the 1.17 universal Firmware. This file is the original Revolutionary 1.17.1111 Firmware with a completed Gingerbread Firmware v 1.45 package (It does contain the Radio 10.14.9035.01_M). (Thanks to Kohr-Ah for the User-Friendly Firmware)
- Follow the same steps you've followed to upgrade the firmware, but this time with the Hboot 1.17 PG58IMG.zip file.
- Flash superwipe script for sensation
- Flash Gingerbread ROM
- Or you can just restore your Gingerbread NANDROID backup, if you have one, AFTER downgrading the firmware and flashing the radio.
- Go to Radio/RIL thread and follow the instructions to check if you have the matching RIL (HTC-RIL 2.2.0169HMQ) for the 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01 radio contained in the 1.17 firmware package. (thanks to mf2112)

why dont you add this guide to your OP..its 100% confirmed that for 1.18 HBOOT revolutionary is failing to get root (zerg root failed error)
so just add a clause saying "in case of HBOOT 1.18 and revolutionary failed while acquiring root ..use this guide .or something"

use beats mudhi's mod..it will give you equalizer
