Mako and Manta builds are available here:

http://goo.im/devs/bigxie/AOKP_PUB

Whenever there's some compelling new features or commits, I'll sync and build these two devices.

Made my night! I'm having trouble adjusting from the pub krait build, notice the minor lag

Thanks bigxie! 4.2.2 is being pushed out so I hope next AOKP update is 4.2.2

Sent from my Nexus4™

Yeah, the OTA is going out, but the code hasn't been pushed to AOSP yet.

It's a sad day when my Galaxy Nexus is running a newer version of Android than my N4 and N10 :)

BTW, if there are any maguro or toro users lurking in this thread, there are PUB builds for them as well now:

I'm going to look into getting PUB builds for mako and manta, since now that I've tasted the Unicorn Butter, I can't go without it.

Good to see you bro!!! Since the Gnex days, I've considered you a android purist! Seems to me PUB Builds, after all, will still rock!. So, are you posting over the nexus 4 forums? Or just go to goo.im?

I couldnt agree more, I love the regular builds but i was running B3, and I SWEAR it was lagging compared to the PUB builds. Many thanks for taking over!! :cowboy:

Will you only be keeping one thread for it or will you start a mako thread? I know TONS of users loved the krait fixes for mako, but most dont know you took it over :)

Yeah, I haven't done a full wipe since I got my N10 and initially flashed AOKP. Cache and dalvik wipe is pretty much always sufficient.

Maybe we can start a discussion thread in the Miscellaneous Android Development forum? Since this applies to a a wide range of devices and I don't know of another place that's appropriate for it.

+2!

I too believe the PUB build to be smoother/faster than B3. Also, thanks much for adding the GNex. Both it & Manta running fantastic here.

I believe a new thread is in order. That way, when the OP decides to come back, this thread is still his to continue with, if he so chooses. My .02.

Too bad.
Right now PA has the most advanced tablet UI (I do not mean PIE, thats just an extra), but AOKP is much faster and smoother (and hopefully more stable).

Thanks to ktoonsez for the cpu and gpu tables. That makes life easier as a good starting point.

You'll notice we don't have as many governors, schedulers and bells and whistles
Ill leave that to the full time kernel devs this is just supposed to be simple, fast, clean.

you can still use KTweaker to modify cpu, gnu and governor. Until performance control is fixed and updated.

    For The Public

Announcement time, I have good news and bad news for you guys. I'm taking a break from Development as i've known it for a while. I'll still be around but you guys probably won't here much from me. I'm gonna pass on maintaining the device and threads i'm been working on and also halting development on Project Unicorn Butter. Anyone who wants to carry that torch is more than welcome to. The good news is I've made it easy to bring PUB to any ROM. below you'll find a local manifest with branches for AOKP and CM those manifests should cover a large majority of all android ROMs since most are either based on CM or AOKP. I Heart you guys and all the support you have given me, but I'm just a little burned out and need a break from responsibility to relax and find the joy in developing that i have some what lost. Once it started feeling like work and not fun I decided it was time for a break. Hope to seem you guys again some time.

    Steve

    AOKP Build 3 PUB [mako]

    Help yourselves:

    http://goo.im/devs/bigxie/AOKP_PUB/aokp_mako_unofficial_Feb-11-13.zip

I tested it pretty thoroughly, so fairly certain everything is working. Synced this afternoon so it includes all the goodies from Build 3 found here:

    http://aokp.co/release-jb-mr1-build-3/

Let me know how it goes, thanks!

P.S. it includes a pretty old Faux kernel from 1/18 so I suggest flashing another. I wasted quite a bunch of time trying to get inline kernel building working, but the PUB toolchain doesn't seem to like it. Next time I will just include a newer prebuilt.
